I guess they do but he's basically using a proxy which gives him an unlimited amount of ips he can use.
It's funny tho how some people spend their life on a website though.

Regardless of opinion 2.0 is the OFFICIAL continuation of SMBX regardless of how people feel about 1.4.2 it will always be 2nd fiddle and a knock off. People will be surprised when they see how superior 2.0 will be in due time. :) Keep up the good work guys!

I agree, they have been getting productive progress, and this is far more superior. I like 1.4.2, but it is too buggy. So that makes my point(I think...).

Im kinda curious of three things.

1. Is the Invasion 3 for 2.0?

2. Is this Mother Brain a single NPC or a bunch of things put together?

3. Is the original Mother Brain from 1.3 still in it?

1. This is all done without Lua and not related to 2.0
2. It's a bunch of things, managed with events.

I can't wait until this upcoming SMBX 2.0. Especially the new characters and NPCs! I've been waiting forever for playable Rosalina and the new Magikoopa.

Has there been any plans to cooperate or collaborate with the SMBX 1.4 developer? I think that he has a great seed but it has a lot of lacking things in it, so I think that he should collaborate with you guys to have faster updates to both SMBXs or even merge them.

I heard they tried to contact him, but he didn't reply back. I think that was on another forum regarding PGE and Smbx 2.0.

Idk if the creator of 1.4 could help that much though.. since he codes on the old language smbx used, while 2.0 is based on lunalua..

But, it doesn't really matter anyway if he doesn't want to.

I make a simple level just for test this version
here a link for my level (made with PGE, called new editor)

if opened with the original editor (legacy) the npc called bowser statue "fall down" during a test

after that i add a statue (the same npc) with the "old" editor and now we can see the difference

Thats not an issue with the 2.0 legacy editor. The same happens with the old one as i tested it.

The problem is that the smw bowser statue is buggy. But thats really a tiny nitpick.

Is there a stronger version of 1.3.1 that I can use that will be less likely to crash on me on some stuff? thanks! and when will this version become used in a lot more episodes and stuff? how prone is this one to crashing and can I play the episodes I got that work on 1.3.1 fine on this one? thanks!
