I wonder, is anyone in the SMBX community doing a Nuzlocke of any Pokemon games? If so, I came up with some challenging custom rules for the custom nuzlocke I'm planning on doing on the Gen 3 remakes of Red & Green:

Custom Rules:

• If you manage to obtain a Legendary/Gift/Event Pokemon, you'll get 1 extra chance to catch Pokemon in the next route!

• You can only teach 1 TM move & 1 HM move to each Pokemon, and they can't unlearn the moves.

• Set a spending limit in shops in each town! (I recommend making the limit at the 20K or higher! )

• Rare Candies are not allowed!

I haven't done any Nuzlockes, but apparently one of my friends is doing one of Black 2. I also love watching randomised Nuzlockes.

Hey guys, does anyone here happen to have a spare Volcanion they would be nice enough to give to me? I'm close to completing my living dex (yes, I'm one of those people) and the only Pokémon I'm missing is Volcanion, because unfortunately I missed out on the retribution that happened for XYORAS.

I have some spare legendaries to trade, like the hidden ability Regis, Mew, Celebi and Hoopa

im 90% sure there will be an event for volcanion for either sm or usum so i reckon just waiting

That's like saying there was an event for Keldeo in Gen VI, and we didn't get one. Well, we technically did but that was part of a string of events to celebrate the 20th anniversary, so it's highly unlikely we will get one for the Gen VI mythicals. There is another mythical due to come out very shortly over here, and that's Marshadow.

Guys, I feel like One of my Pokemon boxes is about to get full in my file in Pokemon Moon! So if any of y'all wanted to, wanna trade with me after my shift is over? I'm available on the weekends from about 3:30 to 4:30 (UTC time, displayed on the forums) but just until I filled my Pokemon box named Traded.

1 of the Pokemon boxes is for my Pokemon Yellow Pokemon ranging from Levels 25-49!

Look, you literally have 8 boxes to fill and when you fill them all, you unlock more boxes. If anything though, trading Pokemon won't even solve your box "problem".

So... I got myself in doing a few online matches on Pokemon Sun & Moon (Single Battles only) about a few days ago. And I wanna have a single online match with some of the guys of the SMBX community! And just a FYI, I only play online for fun, not competition!

Have you guys Pre-purchase Pokemon Gold and/or Pokemon Silver before the 22nd of September (Release date)? you get a code that'll unlock the mythical Pokemon, Celebi in you collection in you Sun or Moon game.

I got my code already, I can't wait!^^

I lost interest in the Pokemon series for some reason, I'm mainly waiting for Pokken Tournament X to come out next week, but I was also planning on getting Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle. Not sure what the plan is on getting those games yet.

But I may continue planning Sun or Moon soon, although Im not quite sure when.

By the way, when's the next Legendary Pokemon collection event?

I pre-purchased Pokemon Gold. The irony is that these were announced just as I was doing a Pokemon Crystal playthrough, which was my first time playing one of the Gen II games. In that playthrough I actually ran into my 4th wild shiny while training my Sandshrew.



Unfortunately, it was a Rattata. -_-;

Anyway, I'm playing Gold now. I've been traveling between Olivine City and Mt. Mortar preparing my team for Morty.

Been playing some Pokémon Emerald again. Made it to the Elite Four but still need to train up my team some more.

How do y'all pronounce Venusaur, just curious? My first exposure to Pokémon was Super Smash Bros. Melee, so I've always pronounced it "Venn-uh-saur" as the Poké Ball pokémon Venusaur says it in-game (which also makes more sense to me since the etymology is presumably venom + dinosaur), but most folks I know who grew up watching the anime say "Vee-noo-saur", which sounds weird to me.

Also, how do y'all say Mightyena? I always saw it as "Mighty-anna" as a kid, not understanding the etymology, and still say it that way. But it's probably supposed to be "Might-eye-ena" or something like that.

I also used to pronounce Rayquaza "Ray-kwah-zah" but now say "Ray-kway-zah" since that's CLEARLY more accurate (ray + quasar).

venusaur = venus fly trap + dinosaur, what the fuck is a vennosaur

i kept saying mighty-eena because mighty hyena but i've heard mighty-enna so i think it's a tomato/tamato kinda thing

raykwayza is the only way to say that anyone else is a bastard who needs to be thrown out the window

arceus is a fucking abominable one, since ark-eus is technically correct but i always went like arse-eus as a kiddo
