Just because a few people here have an unnecessarily large Mario image that could be easily resized (rimg tags are a thing) or be put in a spoiler, I should feel forced to disable ALL signatures? It's neither difficult nor it's not part of common sense to keep your sig within a reasonable limit.

In terms of the boss rush, maybe the LJ in question decided to not approve this kind of levels anymore to avoid teasing or otherwise harassing comments and instead they told the author about it through PM, who knows.

Just put it in a spoiler, it's not that hard.

I don't think he's getting at the difficulty of putting images in spoilers. It seems to be about presenting Mario.

Exactly, how am I going to show my efforts to bring Mario back to this forum and presenting Mario himself to the newcomers if I bind him to a spoiler?

Plus I find the picture to be oddly charming, the way Mario's crotch seems to merge with his ribs.

If there would be teasing or harassing comments you can simply report those posts to the staff, for example staffs like Pseudo, ZM12 always take care of posts like these or some other level judge could go ahead.
I don't agree that a LJ alone should decide to immediatly disapprove it and delete it though.

If it was that "First episode of a new member" by tusms1, yes, I was the one who deleted it, no I have nothing against boss rushes. Due to the post not having screenshots, I deleted the post, sent it to the user via PM, and told them that they cab repost it when they have screenshots. That's the way it's supposed to work in the Levels, Projects, and Episodes forums when the main post doesn't follow the rules. Exceptions to this are older topics where the screenshots or download link are broken, or when there are a lot of posts by users already that are constructive. I'm pretty sure this method was implemented to reduce the clutter of locked topics, since very few of them actually get unlocked

That's a pretty nice decision on handling posts missing screenshots / download links, thumbs up.
