Anyway, something pretty weird happened. I was planning to breed a Whimisicott for the upcoming Online Competition later this month, and I hatched a shiny on the first egg. It had some good IVs and a Bashful nature to go with it, but I wanted to keep it because it was rare, as you all know. Unfortunately, when I went to do something else, as I closed my 3DS, I knocked the card out of position, costing me the shiny (I hadn't saved after). I was a bit upset with myself afterwards and resorted to breeding them again. I managed to hatch a shiny on the first egg again, this time with perfect IVs and a Bold nature. Luckily I saved afterwards so it's mine now.

My last save point was before I dropped the Whimsicott in the Day Care, so is this just a coincidence or am I extremely lucky?

actually, it isnt luck. i dont know everything about it but all egg information is pretty much put into the game. and that egg you hatch, no matter what, will be shiny/not shiny, same ivs, and some other stuff too. so that specific egg was guaranteed to be shiny. its actually a shiny hunting method where you breed a bunch of magikarp, saving occasionally until you get a shiny one, and then changing the parents to get what you want and boom shiny.

there is a lot of work that goes into this method, and it's very precise, but in the very long run it should save time.

A major update just went live for Pokemon GO, which has added the Johto Pokemon to the game. Anyone looking forward to catching those new mons? I managed to catch a Ledyba in my room.

I wish I could get Pokemon Go & its amazing update, but I can't even update my old shitty iPhone, and I'm in a shitty data plan!

Two days ago, I was at a big inter-university tournament, and we saw a lot of people there. They did a massive OU tournament, and I came second place without using any of the Tapus or the Ultra Beasts (I actually didn't lose, I drew one of the battles due to the timer running out). This is what I got as a prize, isn't it cute?

It was a joke lol, I knew he was going for Glaceon.

I have played pearl, and my best Pokémon was Infernape. Highest level. In the upper 90's. I would kick some ass with it. Seriously, it had over 200 health.
