Thanks to a suggestion by
SMBX member, UnoffThrower, I added a
Green switch to mah
Sega Mega Drive GFX pack Castle tileset.
(Please note that the green switch is still a WIP, just gotta think of a symbol to add.)
More coming whenever.

Maybe you could add a star symbol to the switches.

That'll make sense! I'll add a star symbol when I get the chance

Remember when I first showcased my original Mario sprites in both Grayscale
Gameboy,
AND in a original 16-bit style that's more faithful to the original
Super Mario Bros. 3 style? Well, I shamelessly recolored them using 16 out of the 1,536
Sega Mega Drive colors in a
"Faithful" style, because I deserve to be tar and feathered!
Also, I'm planning on making another
Sega Mega Drive style on Luigi sometime in the future.
And once I'm finished, I'll publish both of them in my custom player sprite topic in the graphics forums.

Decided to rework my overworld
Sega Mega Drive level Background, because why not Zoidberg? And this time, I added a cloud to it:
Planning on adding s'more details to this BG sometime.

Almost done. I just need to add a few more blocks and make a background for this.

So I decided to make a snowy tileset for my
Sega Mega Drive/Genesis GFX pack, because why not zoidberg:
And I freaking know, the snow trees are recolors, so what? You wanna fight about it?

So I forgot to showcase these things that I worked on a few weeks back. Could be improved but it's my first "detailed" group of tilesets!
I'm not 100% keen on the spike shapes on the grass / cave tilesets (mainly the ones on the slopes). Took quite a while to get the shape that they have currently. You'll also notice the top slopes of the grass tileset have different grass shapes than the normal tiles. Any advice when dealing with slopes in general?

That cave tileset could definitely use more detailed slopes. I think the grass slopes look good, though!

Idunn needs some SMW-style Cackletta and Fawful sprites so I offered to whip up some base sprites that could be passed on to someone else to expand into a full set of animations.
The top row is my initial attempt with a number of style "cheats" like extra shading and anti-aliasing, bottom is my attempt at getting the sprites more accurate to the style without sacrificing
too much clarity and quality. I'm probably still being way too conservative about adding things like banding.
I've got a thing coming up soon and won't be able to work on these any more for a while, so I'm just gonna leave them here for now. If someone more experienced with SNES SMW style (as opposed to Mario Maker SMW style) wants to mess with these, go for it.

I seriously don't know why Paint.net is constantly changing the color of the light snow color to color FFFFFF every time I open this custom
Sega Mega Drive tileset.... But here's my progress:

About a week ago, I found a solution on keeping Paint.net from changing the lightest snow color of mah custom
Sega Mega Drive snow tileset from what I used to color FFFFFF, I made the sheet background transparent. See:
Whatcha think
SMBX?
