Yeah....but LunaLua is considered as a hack. So anyone using it for whatever reason, isn't official build or parts to the program.
Even though none of the current builds are "official" regardless of using LunaLua in this state.
How is that any kind of argument lol? LunaLua is a hacking tool, yes, but how is that a bad thing?
How does that have to do with anything?
Well, lets verse LunaLua, a hacking tool, with reprogramming, or coding from scratch.

There's no difference because LunaLua is just as stable but more functional than the programming language in Chinese SMBX. What does it matter if it's a hacking tool? It's still better

I'm pretty sure that's the intention
I don't know about the power ups, but most, if not all, of the NPCs in 1.4.x are very possible and I intend to go in that direction for the full release. However, we'll also be adding NPCs from the other franchises that characters are from. Mega Man enemies, Wario Land enemies, more Metroid enemies, etc. (even enemies from Metal Gear). We also want to add more bosses - like Crocomire, Tryclyde, Cut Man, maybe Phantoon... It's getting a bit boring just fighting Wart/Boom Boom/Koopalings/Birdo/Bowser...
Regarding dates: I'm still in the hospital in recovery. I'm working on 2.0 from the hospital, but once I get out (August 14th is when I leave outpatient and move to 'monitored from home'), I plan to release Beta 3 around that week. We're reaaaallllllly absurdly close. So much so that people are now working on other new features while we wait for others necessary for full release. So, thanks to SnoruntPyro and Hoeloe, we'll unexpectedly be getting many more new blocks to play with! They're really neat!
I am just glad you are getting better. It is good to hear that 2.0 beta 3 is about to get released though.

Because it's unofficial.
"Oh hey Developer! I really don't like that you haven't added this feature into your software, so I'm going hack it! He-he..he.!" Or in this case: "Oh, hey Redigit! It sucks that Nintendo got their lawyers to give you anal because you made a popular Mario Engine. - I'm going to hack your Engine now."
God, no wonder the "MarioHeads really dislike you. You're being as much of a pest as you are to them.

And how is Chinese SMBX official? At least LunaLua is a good unofficial hack. And PS, please don't be an ass

Never ever once I said that the Chinese version was official, and I never disagreed or agreed. And please, don't put word in my mouth you cry baby.

I'm just saying that you're saying that LunaLua is bad because it's not official, while Chinese SMBX is the same thing. I never put words into your mouth so please for the love of God be civil

KittyCat, this argument is redundant. Make another topic if you are only going to argue about Teascript and LunaLUA.
x_x
Not trying to be rude, but I am tired of this argument.

Sure, ok, change your words if you must. But please, if you need to plead to god for help, that really means something.

I'm happy to hear you're on the mend Horikawa.
I've lurked the forum for awhile keeping an eye on 2.0 news, and I'm really looking forward to playing with the next beta release. I don't know if even the official 2.0 release will be enough to get another Talking Time project off the ground, but I'm sure gonna try.

Just do whatever the fuck you want to do. Don't like 2.0, and want to play 1.4? Then do! Noone's pinning you around.
If you want to debate madly on TeaScript vs LunaLua, then go make a thread.
I'm getting tired too of having to change my bookmarks every day because of your little war of repetitive arguments, which are just "Lunalua is a hack of SMBX, that's bad, it sucks, it's unofficial, so obviously 1.4 is better".
We have a whole engine that is going to be expanded on more stuff than just Mario.
So yeah, go take your war somewhere else, this is the Open Beta discussion and we only want to hear about Horikawa getting better and 2.0 beta 3 coming out.

Phantom might be coming, holy shit. I guess the point would probably be to fight him with Samus though, lol. Can't imagine Mario being able to reasonably defeat that boss.

Quick tutorial for people who dislikes 2.0:
Don't download it;
Don't play it;
Don't be rude with who likes 2.0;
Don't spam 2.0 thread with arguments of why something is better than 2.0;
It works for other games as well.

I think Crocomire is more likely than Phantoon, due to the fact that the latter has more complex patterns in it's game.

They are both from the same game though. I hope more Metroid enemies and bosses will be in the game though.

I hope in the future, enemies from SMW 2: Yoshi's Island could come on SMBX 2.0 (or in future updates). Also i'm excited that SMBX 2.0 Beta 3 is really near completed.
