I'd say PixelPest was probably the best option for GM. Congrats on your promotion!

Hey all you Mafia enthusiasts!
If you didn't notice, we're introducing some new features. And not just one, but two!
We have a new subforum in SMBX Mafia. Here you will be able to host your own smaller games without having to worry about winning a poll. They will run normally in terms of gameplay but they have a different sign-up process and will run consistently with fewer breaks than official games. The Game Masters will each host one of these games first and then we'll open it up to you guys to run some awesome sidegames. Please read over the rules and info posted there so you're ready to play some awesome games.
Starting M45, we will also be hosting a Creative Edition of the host sign-ups. Every five games this will occur. It will involve a prompt that will require you to create a game around a certain mechanic or idea for that round of sign-ups. We hope to see some amazing creativity here.
All of the Game Masters are really enthusiastic for these new additions and hope you're just as excited for these new features!

Sorry for the double post but in Mafia games, why are the role PMs for a townie say stuff about being a miller? It convinces peoole that they are a miller.

Millers are the same as townies but they flip red.
They are not aware of the fact if they are miller or not.
So, let's say you've got the townie pm and there are 5 townies and the miller.
And in that case, you have a 1:6 chance to be the miller and 5:6 to be a regular townsperson, but you do not know which you are.

I have noticed a potential problem with the side games. They could generate (and it loooks it has already happened) the mentality of 'This is only a side game, I won't bother'. So there needs to be rules that you must be active even in side games.

Side games are not a concept I generally am a fan of, because it forces you to split your thinking between games and could generally cause problems when there's the same players playing both. Mass confusion will ensue and people will just give up on one of the games. This could also lead to more forms of meta evidence and it's just generally not a concept I'm a fan of

i would have prefered the method of using two major games at once instead of side games, then again who i am to judge. I have not played a side game, nor know the struggles of game setting. the only experience i have is playing multiple games at once and well thats all i got. So what i say is not really helpful.
couldn't we inforce activity in both side games and main games or something to encouarge people to play games more often.

These are the same exact concerns I gave when I was gamemaster and it was agreed upon that side games wouldn't be a thing because they would be really hard to manage, but it looks like those concerns were thrown out the window. There was no planning or thought that went into the introduction of side games, and I know this because they were introduced almost as soon as I left, and there was no discussion beforehand about how they should work. I feel like as a concept it could be a good idea, but its execution was done poorly.
