He's from Kid Icarus Uprising.
Like a Character Relationship like Wario & Waluigi?

Ish, yeah, I guess. He's an "evil" (but not actually evil) version of Pit in the game. And yeah, he's a clone of Pit in Smash 4, as you might expect.

He's a personification of Pit's negative feelings. Dark Pit is supposed to be serious and more aggressive than Pit. The way he is portrayed in Uprising though, makes him out to be more of an anti-hero than anything else. His name is likely based on the fact that he's almost an opposite of Pit in almost every way, rather than him being an evil doppelgänger.

Didn't you just describe about anyone whose is "Dark" has those things that you just mentioned?
what's your favourite character of all times? Your number one favourite? The one you will/would choose over than any other character?

Well you said: "He's a personification of Pit's negative feelings" ect. Isn't that how you would describe any 'Dark' character? Or 'Bad' character? you know, not on the 'Good side'?

You can't just generalise that, there are lots of good character with negative feelings, like anger or revenge.

That was straight uncalled for. Also, characters have many different dimensions to them that make them complex, so whether or not a character is bad or not, there is always a separate factor.

^this basically.
Many villains that aren't just there so the player has something to fight against (Bowser or Eggman) have complex personalities and goals that go beyond "destroying the world because evil".

I didn't fucking say that Nintendo, whoever makes a game, put a villain or bad guy so there's an objective to the fucking game!

Dude, relax. You don't have to call everybody who's replied shit heads just because they misunderstood what you were saying. That's super uncalled for.

Yeah you're getting awfully defensive over this. Besides I wasnt implying that ALL dark characters are like that, I was saying that Dark Pit is moreso an opposite to Pit in terms of personality and morals rather than an evil clone. Which dark characters usually are (evil). That goes in line of what I said about him, he IS a personification of Pit's negative feelings.

I wanted to revive this thread because Smash Bros. for Wii U came out, along with the first 12 amiibos. What are your thoughts on the Wii U version compared to the 3DS version, and what do you think about the amiibos?
My thoughts on the amiibos? Nintendo lied to us with the extremely sleek looking amiibos at E3. Just look at what we have now--they're not nearly as detailed, and some of them are just so bad I wouldn't recommend getting them for their looks. Samus, the amiibo I purchased, is a line between amazing and bad. The most notable thing about Samus is this:

You should notice that, aside from the random paint splotch on the knee spike, that Samus is lopsided! What even?
This, folks, is what happens when mass production hits high-quality toys.
One thing I find neat about Samus, though, is that the lowerside of the arm cannon does not match the Classic/All-Star trophies, but instead matches the ingame model and the Samus (Varia Suit) and Samus (Gravity Suit) trophies. I suppose Nintendo derped on the Classic/All-Star trophies, then?

I rarely actually play the game on higher difficulties than default, I'm not the competitive type.

You don't have to be able to beat level 9 CPUs to be good, but it's good reflex skills because of how often they spam perfect shields. It gets annoying, and most of the time you'll want to go in for a grab on them. Their recovery movements are very predictable, though.
