Reputation Mod

Still it was YOUR mistake, not the Mod's. It's easier to complain about the Reputation Mod when it was the channel you've committed your mistake through, but take some time to analyse the real issue with the reps you've handed.

People who whine about downreps need to grow up. Don't respond to this with more immaturity. I just want this out there, I don't even want people to reply to it.

Or, there are people that have a rep from around 1 to -1.

Those are the typical people like sniffit and I. Not getting any upreps or downreps much.

I'd agree with removing this mod, it simply sucks. But since it seems to have wonderfully integrated in this community already, we probably won't see that happen.

I doubt it is easy to even ignore the mod if you get uprepped or downrepped.

Like, you're not even supposed to ignore the Mod. By ignoring it and complaining about it you're denying the fact you've been downrepped/uprepped for a reason you have to understand.

Okay, to the guys wanting this removed because you have negative rep and/or you think it causes too much drama, let's set aside the fact that this mod causes drama, and let us think that it helps users become better people. Plus, Joey knows what he's doing. He added this mod for a reason, and it's downright asinine to want it removed, because it has a good reason for its existence so stop going all batshit crazy about it. It's obviously not going to get removed anymore.

Kyo has 6 rep and still wants it gone, I really don't care if it stays or not. Also, I just want to see good downreps on people. Sometimes I go view their comments and then people are just being downright mean. :/

Maybe if people didn't abuse the rep system it would be a lot better.

I think downrepping someone ONLY ONCE for one reason is good enough. Downrepping someone again simply because they didn't react well to your downrep is overkill, because you've proven that doing that causes unnecessary drama.

I, by the way, am hardly satisfied with how the staff has overall handled this event anyways. I think Gohan is being somewhat mistreated. Koolkat appears to have two redeeming upreps from staff after 4 downreps. Gohan has gotten two sympathy upreps from me and Blue Dread (we're directly breaking the rules by doing this, may I mention) after 7 downreps, yet no staff members come to cater to him.

"Seriously, I'm tired of you backseat moderating and I'm also tired of your frequent useless posts. Please improve your overall posting habits a bit."

Joey already warned me for doing so and so far none of the Staff has told me to stop making useless posts plus when did i do useless posts. This is pretty unfair since there are members who do this but i never saw me doing this.

But afterall it's from Kep and he dislikes me anyway bc i once downrepped him so he go butthurted.

I would like to ask if someone of the staff could remove this downrep it's not true in the slightest and i haven't backseat moderate in any of my posts and as i said Joey already told me.

Yeah, just go ahead and imply he was being butthurt and did this for revenge instead of considering why you were actually downrepped and deeming it as unfair. Don't give me the "other users weren't downrepped for doing shit" excuse.

Come on, man; why would you say that? You have more reputation than tons of people here, even more reputation than more than half of the staff members (NOT combined obviously). Please also be grateful I don't dislike you as much as you think I do, because I do think you're a cool person, but on the other hand, automatically assuming someone dislikes you because you downrepped them and they downrepped you is a bit dumb, and also, I would have made it more obvious if my downrep was "seeking revenge". I'm also not that immature; I don't "seek revenge" for something as stupid as a downrep. Please be aware of that.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm rather tired of people complaining about certain reps, about some unjustified reasons on said reps, and about this mod in general. Cant you guys see that this is no place to start whining because of meaningless numbers? You're making a big deal out of nothin'. If you guys have a complaint about a certain rep PM a Staff Member. If that Staff Member decides it's legitimate, do NOT post here. Just because you make public your opinion doesn't mean you'll get what you're looking for. Instead you'll receive what angered you in the beginning.

I'm pretty sure Kep used the system properly—he downrepped you for literally posting in a thread just to say "Did Bossedit just dp." You can find this out by clicking the tiny image to the left of the rep comment. Since you acknowledge being warned for that kind of behaviour you should already understand why it's better to leave double posts and the like to the staff. Not only that, but your post was incorrect—he hadn't double posted at all, which is another part of the reason regular users aren't trusted with calling out that kind of stuff. If you had been staff, you would have been expected to know that the thread was merged, and by that you would have understood that bossedit8 hadn't double posted at all.

Also, in Kep's defence, no regular user can see when you are warned for something, so it's hard to fault him for downrepping you for something that you were already warned on. Even if, for whatever reason, he actually disliked you, it wouldn't invalidate his comments anyway.

As for other users being guilty of useless/backseat moderating posts, feel free to downrep or report them. That's what these functions are for, and that's why you got tagged with both.

Are we allowed to be downrepped when we're noobs at level judging and we do a really bad job at it??? I got one on that. But I'm just sayin. I don't really care about how my rep will change (Unless it goes majorly down...) I mean it used to change all the time.
