How? I don't get what you're saying here. I'm obviously not going to cancel the project as there's a lot riding on this one!

There's five joke levels. There's Block Bullshit as you stated, as well as an Amateur Lands level, a Messed-up Mario Bros. 1-1 kind of level (by KoolKat), a clashy, cut-offy level, and a secret level which I can't reveal (although that is the best one).

I bet it has a lot of Frozen references.

Only me, Nexia, KoolKat and GLuigiX know what it is.
Edit: Holy shit...I just realised this is my 666th post...may the devil live with with me in it...

Of all people, how do they know what it is?
Are they a part of this project or something?

I haven't said it yet, but I don't see much appeal in a joke level. Block Bullshit is just a stolen idea that was funny once, but repeating the same joke is... simply not funny. Even if it's a bit different from the original, the message is still the same. It's like, some random user makes a spectacular joke that everyone finds funny. And then someone else (you in that case) comes and says the same joke, but rewords it.
Same with the Amateur Lands Hey-based level. It's deadfish's kind of level. He's the one who knows how to make them funny. Taking everything from it but redesigning it; there is just nothing behind it. Even if modified, it's still nothing more than a blatant copy of deadfish's idea and nobody will find it amusing.
A clashy cut-off level is just completely random and redundant; as if it's very existence only serves to say, "hey, I ran out of ideas". It's a remake and new levels are just fine, but joke levels are nothing more than a stupid and superfluous addition that absolutely NO ONE wants. I still don't get how you fail to see the point.
Leave them out. While they don't ruin the entire episode, they are a disgrace of a remake that actually promised to be something.

Guys, calm down. The ones which don't serve anything such as the Amateur Lands and Block Bollocks ones are completely optional - only the last one requires stars to access. The Messed-up Mario Bros. 1-1 level by KoolKat, one of the level designers, is quite original as well.

As the title suggests, I made a fire-based level. It's not just any old fire-based level though, it's Mad Mad Volcano, remade to actually look more like a volcano, using reghrhre's tileset again!

Wow, that looks really awesome. This episode will be so much better with custom graphics...
The new title scared me for a second, I thought the project might've been cancelled for some reason ("kill" it with fire).

Nah. I wouldn't cancel this if the whole SMBX community is riding on this. It's a joke because the level I've revealed is a volcano level (Mad Mad Volcano).

I've got an idea for this. You know how the original episode had a lot of unused music in the custom music box from SMG, SMS, DKR, and more? Maybe you could use those music now.

A lot of the unused music - about 80% of it, in fact, is from Super Mario Galaxy. I'll try my best, but the thing is a lot of people have not seen the unused music, and that, plus the fact that it would get boring just using mainly Super Mario Galaxy music most of the time, so I'm gonna use different game music, but there will be some levels that will retain the unused tracks, such as Lava Castle, which is going to use the NSMB castle theme, the original choice before it was moved to the SMB3 fortress theme. Also, Pleasant Fields and Sunny Valley were originally going to use the Good Egg Galaxy music; this has been changed in the remake to the SMB3 medley in SSBM to reflect the nature of a first level.
Also in the hub of the original TGCA, there is an unused section - section 5 - that still exists. It was intended to be a place called Twilight Town, the home of the Star People, but I don't know why it got scrapped through development. I'll probably bring back Twilight Town through another level because it seems unfitting for a Bowser's castle.
The hub in the remake will play more like a ToB-style episode rather than an actual castle as well, in terms of that you have to fight bosses to unlock certain sections. However, they won't all be just Boom Boom bosses, but others will be thrown into the mix as well.

OK guys, due to popular demand, I'm removing the joke levels. Are you satisfied now?

Keep them there, please. Just make them all optional.
