I hope for thousands too. And i hope those spirits would be use to unlock more content

Do you think every spirit will have a battle associated with it? Maybe the unlocks could be special music, extra game modes, or an overall improved experience? Hopefully, Spirits mode will be as good as I think it is.

Finally preordered the game. It'll be my birthday gift

I read an article early this morning that explained how massive and challenging Spirits mode is. Many other sources are also reporting on how great the single-player is in general. To me, they will probably be right.

Bad news, people...

Apparently, hackers leaked the game data online. They seem to have spoiled everything. I didn't look at it because I don't want to be spoiled.

My advise: stay away from sites such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, if not the internet until December 7th. That way you'll not spoiled by whatever was leaked.

Although the game could have been leaked, I don't believe it. People will call any speculation "leaks" nowadays.

Okay, I will stay away from leaks on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. I'll just ignore them.

Already playing the game. Acording to records, the online sucks. Too much for people who said "I'll subscribe to online just for smash".

True dat, and I NEVER play on "Online Mode" during the 3 days of playing it

I don’t have a Switch (yet) but I played SSBU for over 12 hours yesterday and for 3-4 hours on Friday with my friends and might get a Switch just for this game next year sometime. Pacing is pretty much the same as 4, a little more variable because there are a ton of characters and some are designed for a faster or slower match. There are a TON of gamemodes and ways to play and just overall the game is incredibly fun.

My mains currently are Bowser Jr, Palutena, Wii Fit Trainer, Wolf, and Lucina. Also learning Isabelle, Peach, and Diddy Kong, and enjoy playing Little Mac, Corrin, Pacman and Cloud.
(seriously there’s just a ton of characters and I’m indecisive, I love the Smashdown mode with friends because of this)

Highly recommend you all try it out for an extended period of time (it’s similar to 4 but also different because of the scale of assets and takes a little bit to get used to).

I've started playing online this weekend and have had absolutely no problems. The only preferred rule I care about is 1v1 and so far I've never had a 4 person FFA match.

Well, I eventually gotten Bored of Smash Ultimate after about a few hours of playing the game in 4 days.

How does one get bored of the game.

Also, I might as well say that this game is a gem and, with playing it, I didn't encounter anything I didn't like. Only thing I could say is that I expected more spirits, but hey, they could always add some more in the future (probably).

Bored wouldn't be the word, you're just simply burnt out

I'm definitely getting tired of playing the game, although it still keeps my interest. Although I enjoy beating hundreds of spirits in a row with two moves, I can only do that for so long. Thankfully, I only have online challenges left. Once those are cleared, I can do whatever I like without worrying about any hidden content.

By the way, I think the new way to save videos is a bit strange, although that's probably due to my inexperience. I also wish we could save pictures of spirits like we did with the stickers in Brawl. As far as I know, there aren't any hidden bosses in Classic Mode either, since I've made it to 9.9 without continuing several times now.
