You're throwing around words outside their context for no reason other than to be a joke, at best. Cancer has a primary connotation with a group of diseases people die from. Triggers, whatever they may be, are used to describe things which give people heavy amounts of distress. Neither of those things should be laughed at, though people tend to use them outside their context because they don't care about what they say. That's their loss, though; if they ever come to the point when they need to use those words for what they actually mean, they've robbed themselves of the possibility for people to take them seriously.

If you don't want to fall into that trap, it's as simple as finding a better word to use.

It really wasn't my goal. I tried to use the word cancer, since it is a popular term to describe out of control fandoms and stuff on the web, and Iv'e never seen anyone thinking that it was wrong to do it, and I didn't knew you guys would be affected like this, so I guess I might just stop using it on the smbx platform.
