The boss fight looks good. My only problem is the area on the right. It could be abused, which probably wasn't intended.

There's supposed to be a star there (At least there was in the previous demo I played), but I guess he collected it.

Re: Super Mario World at War [0.3 IS RELEASED]

We are finally releasing 0.3. This demo contains most of world 1 and half of world 2. All levels in the worlds this demo covers that don't exist will be a warp to the same level. This should mean that you will be able to patch 0.4 over 0.3. 0.4 will have the finished world 1 and 2 (Maybe others depending on the poll results and/or the completed worlds. 0.4 will likely come just after beta 4 is released (so late summer/early autumn if beta 4 does get released around when they say it will). So 0.3 is kind of rushed.

Known issues:
-Star 1 in 1-3 is too high
-Star 3 in 2-Fortress is missing

Other issues can be reported here or on the discord server.

So uh. Download here

Here is an updated version of the guidelines since the ones included are outdated: https://puu.sh/vXhhB/8e92e7cbb2.txt

Also, 0.3 cannot be patched over 0.2.

Guys, I want feedback on my project so far. Remember that you should check out 0.3 if you have not already. Also I will probably release a small patch to fix a few issues with the demo and add toad house levels.

Also, we want more team members so either PM me here or DM on discord or post here if you want to be on the dev team and then I will take you through the process of joining. Note that you need to be a member of this forum and also the SMWaW discord server to join the dev team. I am also considering replacing Andrew Pixel and MrPunchia if they don't join the server and start contributing to the project.

While I don't know a whole lot about this episode yet, it definitely seems like a very large-scale and ambitious project. Granted my project is large-scale too, but it seems like development is moving slower. I don't wish to be a level designer, but I could help walk you through the episode whether that means co-leader or just an adviser to you. It's the least I can do while I got my own project, helping other projects, and wrapping up my contests.

OK then, if you send me a PM or use our DM, then I will see what we can do. Also, I would suggest joining the Discord Server if this is something you are interested in doing.

it looks good, but the only thing that bothers me are those brown bricks. ik u need them as a barrier but is there anything else that would look more appealing there?

It is actually a shitty version of 1-2. I don't have it anymore. RhysOwens might but I doubt he would.

It seems like you're trying to make lineguide.lua without lineguide.lua in that screen.

Know I wasn't. That is the original version of 1-2 that has since been gone. It is basically the last remnant of the early SMWaW that I have. You can see that screen in the original thread, but all the others are deleted, but that somehow esacaped.

Looks pretty neat, I'll definetly join co-leadering and design levels.
