A little zombie goomba and some mine-related stuff. I'll maybe expand them into tilesets later.

Here's a update to my
SEGA Mega Drive style
Autumn Forest tileset that no one in the
SMBX community wanted to see!

Yes. I think I can make them shine in the dark with lua.

you don't even need lua, you can just use txt files for that. You can set offsets, colors, the radius, etc.

Oh, I didn't know about that. That's very cool actually, thanks for the info, but I was thinking more like a sprite overlay where the eyes stay bright even in darkness, rather than actually emitting light.

don't worry, that will happen too with how darkness works in the editor

The available NPC codes related to lighting only make it so that the NPC emits a light around it. You can offset it to only cover the eyes, but it's not exactly what I want. This is what I'm talking about:

You have to manually draw the sprite with the eyes above the priority of your darkness environment (default priority is like, 0 or 1 i think?)
(also the teeth totally look more like eyes and it took me until you posted the comparison image to realize the real eyes)

I kinda made this with that idea in mind. Although I have some coding experience, I don't know much about lua and I thought this would be a good thing to try and learn.

Now that you mentioned it... yeah it kinda does. If you look into it more like a mushroom than a goomba it actually makes sense.

Done with the block tiles of my
Sega Mega Drive style

WIP background for a underwater level idea I had which I'm probably not gonna make anyway.
I don't understand why I give up on every single level I make. I have the ideas but I can't execute them, which is the reason I never really contributed much to the community.

so I'm working on graphical stuff again, and I'm finally continuing this tileset some more.

Would this be animated like having the broken off Blocks move around a bit.

Here's a quick update on my

Autumn Forest tileset, because why not Zoidberg?
Now to add some background scenery to these tiles!

Well yeah, I just started brainstorming more tiles after posting that. Still brainstorming as of the making of this post.
