You can't those kind of ranks. Only Admins have them.
WHAT? Man, fucking bummer :o :o :o . Is there a way I can hack this site to have FF ranks or can I pay Joey for one? :?:

They're just an admin thing, lots of sites have special staff ranks. Ranks don't really mean anything important in any case.

If you hack this site can you please resize large ass ranks to something more reasonable like 32x32 max?

Please do it new shitposting friend.

EDIT: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... m_spiders/

The guests meme is getting old. Can an admin do their job please and block them?

On my end there's a drop in page load speed which I'm assuming is to the bandwidth being up by those bots/crawlers. It's primarily annoying to me though because it floods the Who Is Online page when I check what the guests are reading.

I haven't seen any drops in page load speed, honestly.

Probably an issue with your router or something since no one else seems to be affected

No, it's not.

Also can we do something about the terrible incompetence on the part of the admins in general, or is that off the table too?

You're really the only incompetent one here...

No one else is experiencing these issues so it obviously isn't a big problem

Nice collage.

But if it isn't slowing anything down, who cares?

Can you stop trying to act like you're a global moderator. You're a fucking level judge. You don't even review that much so quit trying to tell people what to do when you can barely do what you're assigned to do yourself.

Quite honestly, AM, if it's only you, it's probably something on your side. But yes, the overload of registered bots is a clear indication of a lack of decent security system on the registering page. The administration should probably acknowledge that we're right and move towards fixing that problem, by either increasing a variation in security questions or use bot-proof captcha's.

I don't think it's only me because I noticed decreased connection time when the crawlers came. For the registration page though, there's no easy fix that can be implemented except for restricting emails to reputable companies to be used for registration, and using the Newly Registered group (which was already shot down). Perhaps the only captcha worth using is Google's nocaptcha because it monitors all interaction with it as well as stuff like cookies, threat data, etc.
