A is better, but the blur is pretty bad. I'd suggest you get rid of that.

A bit of color blending or antialias doesnt hurt, but this is pretty much just blurry

I thought it was just me but others have confirmed that this does have motion blur. May i suggest trying this out without the anti-aliasing? Might look a lot better.

I can't tell, both had some complaints from various members.... But maybe edit it so it looks nicer...

A is better because the top isn't the exact same as the fill like the second one. I recommend making the tilesets more 3 dimensional by adding a bright area where the light is supposed to hit it, and a shadow in the area the light doesn't hit it. As it stands right now, it's very flat looking. Also the antialiasing really isn't helping at all. It's what's causing the "motion blur" effect that you clearly did unintentionally.

I've heard about my beach tileset looks too blurry.
I can feel a bit that, but if I remove the AA on my tileset it will look very bland & less sand looking, maybe its the pallette despite that I recycled the soil of my desert tileset & heavily modify it to make this, well I might make another beach tileset that would be the rocky surface & this is the sandy surface.

Maybe it'll look more bland, but it'll also look usable.
The decorations look out of place as they are right now. Kinda like they're pasted onto the side (emphasized by the shadow on the shell). Perhaps bury them in the sand a little?

Tileset still looks very flat, especially on the slopes. The lighting is very subtle (also yuck horizontally asymmetric tileset lighting).

Both the before & after designs of the Koopa Troopa NPC looks like he's flashing for some reason! Maybe add a outline on the bottom of the next.

can you like try making something new yourself, why is it always this one specific koopa, like i'm legitimately curious

or at the very least credit us? it's not like i'm forbidding edits but you've dragged this sprite for so long and even harrassed me on discord about it that it just seems ridiculous

The reason I used that because I can't find a good bipedal custom Koopa sprite that has a beak and it is not in a lateral view like the smw koopas.

I make my stuff now, instead of using other's gfx for my project.

Plus your Koopa sprite was both based on referenced on Sliverydeoxy's Koopa (aka M&LDA's old Koopa sprite) and the SMW redrawn Koopa.




The beak or the head is different
The eyes are now different
The torso is different
the back is different
the feet are different
the tail is different
the arms are different.
The shading is different
The colors are different.

However, there are few similarities just the pose.
There so many custom mushrooms & goomba sprites that look similar to each other and have differences.

If mine looks no different from Enjl's or yours I guess I should give you credits but I don't even trust you, because I know you're a snake!

...which is why they've been properly credited alongside everyone else in Delightful Enhanced and Delightful 2's credit text? i understand that it wasn't the case back then since it was like 2014 and i did not quite understand the concept of crediting, so that's definitely totally my bad there, but nowadays this is completely different
not to mention i always explain that the goombas are a really lightly edited versions of Lovintendo, and i've literally never bragged about the graphics, if anything i always credit Quine and Rixi for how good their own original sprites they've done for me look, but i personally never bragged about it.
this has nothing to do with jealously, i'm not jealous of a koopa sprite, i'm annoyied at your unwillingness to admit that you've been constantly chasing and trying to claim this one koopa sprite for some reason and continued to mangle it without ever crediting the original edit
