What did you guys named your rival character in the Pokemon games? Here's mine (Just a FYI, one of the names I give to my rival might be very juvenile...)
  • Pokemon Red: Jerk (It's because he is a freaking jerk!)
  • Pokemon Yellow: @#$%er (Learned that from my older sister as a joke. :o )

I agree on this.
Besides, I don't see a Punk or Siren being Fighting or Psychic anyway plus Rowlet seems to focus on that line for a start.

So, the SM demo is out and I think it did a good job showcasing the new features. I'm definitely hyped now! I'm just disappointed they didn't showcase Alolan forms in the demo but eh

Also, since the demo has been datamined you should spoiler tag anything that's not part of the demo or otherwise officially revealed.

I'm going to start before head.

The spoilers below contain what was data mined so if you don't want to be spoiled don't open this.
Spoiler: show
Thou there wasn't that many new moves found, the bad news is there's only 81 new pokemon since Ultra Beasts could be Pokemon due to them getting shiny forms.
What you're going to see is a ton of standalone pokemon which I feel like is the mess up of the slightly bigger amount.
Now, it seems unlikely that there's more but of course game freak wouldn't put a ton of gigabytes in a demo.
Here are the three videos for more information:

This was close to being called the most overhyped gen in my book, but at least they're showing they don't want to reach 1000 so quickly.
Marshadow is now my favorite "mythical".

Pls explain me how only 81 new pokes is bad, when we have like over 600 all together.

I would get Pokemon Sun and Moon, only if it's possible to transfer some Pokemon from the digital copies of Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow to Sun/Moon!

As usually prior to XY, we always got a variety of new Pokemon, but ever since XY gave us 69 it starts to lack a lot on specific types.
An example would be, if you were to choose only Ground types from gen 6 the only options are Diggersby and Zygarde.
Additionally, if you see the list we are lacking Poison, Dark, and Ice types this generation which isn't a good sign as you'll have very limited choices if you were to focus on one generation and a type at the same time.
I feel like they're now taking the "Quality > Quantity" thing as if they were scared of giving us over 100 each gen, especially the now those 81, will bring us up to 802.
Meaning there's only 198 spaces to reach up to 1000, but this seems to be something that's not interesting in the Pokemon community.
As people want our older, bigger variety, not our new, small, lacking, limited amount.
What's also bad is fact that most of the new Pokemon are standalone, most of those Pokemon could've gotten another stage which I find to be weird.

Edit: This may not be the whole dex but I'm not sure what will happen when Serebii reveals the pokedex.
Apparently gamefreak did scrub out some data and when you think of it some of it looks incomplete, besides weren't the fossils for this gen teased in a trailer?
So I think the better time to find out if these are truly all of the Pokemon and alolan forms, would be Serebii revealing the amount.
Also, it's strange that they scrubbed out the story and coding, but they didn't scrub the images.

So the TM list has apparently been leaked as well. I'm pretty pleased with the results so far, but why did they have to get rid of a really useful move just for a bad move?
Do not click this spoiler if you want to wait until the game comes out to see the TM list!
Spoiler: show

Finally!! HMs are now gone! But...why are they replacing Dig, a useful field move, with Leech Life of all things?? I know it got buffed to 75 power, but Dig apparently functions as a free Escape Rope. And could 684 and 694 be?

Final evolutions of the starters have been revealed! We have the Grass/Ghost Decidueye, the Fire/Dark Incineroar, and the Water/Fairy Primarina. What do you think of the reveals?

Now I have to decided wether I should stay on team Litten or I should switch to team Rowlet.
The first starter in the franchise to change typings through evolutions (Grass/Flying - Grass/Ghost).

NOT A FIRE/FIGHTING TYPE YEEEESSSSS

Also, was not expecting the Grass/Ghost. That's pretty cool - love the bow and arrow aesthetic too.

Haven't watched the video, but that sounds crazy.
Anyway, a couple months ago, i beat Red in Soulsilver, and he honestly was nowhere near as hard as people made him out to be.
Also, in Platnium, is it weird that i didn't find Cynthia that hard?
Also, i'd like to ask a question, between these games:
Firered and Leafgreen
Diamond, Pearl, And Platinum
Heartgold and Soulsilver
Black and White
Black 2 and White 2
X and Y
Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Which ones did you pick?

Also, do you guys plan on buying Sun, Moon, Or Both? I'm thinking of buying Moon.
