Honestly, I like the designs on the currently revealed pokemon so far.
Beside my tough choice between Rowlet or Litten, Salandit is one of my favorites.
Besides, pokemon seem to not be afraid of their weakness on making new typings anymore.
I also love Drampa and Komala (tbh I really hope this pokemon evolves), normal types are starting to look even cooler each gen.
Oh boy, ten days until Rockruff's secret evolution is revealed via CoroCoro!
Edit: New alolan Rattata confirmed, more leak credibility and also a hilarious new Z move preformed by Snorlax as gen 7's first event!
Looks like we're starting to run out of unused typings with only 30 left.

Alola forms are alternate forms of Generation 1 Pokémon (and maybe other gens but those are the only ones that have been shown so far). They have different appearances, types, and abilities but overall similar appearances and the same name. For example, Alolan Vulpix is an Ice-type with Snow Cloak.
Sorry to change the topic so suddenly, I know you're all talking about Sun/Moon, but this relates to Pokemon, so I just want to say this.
I don't pay attention to stats and EVs and IVs and whatever people use to play Pokemon.
I just build a team of Pokemon that I like, and if they can't do what I need them to do (beat a gym, an area, etc.), I level them up a bit and try again.
I don't pay attention to EV training and all that.
I don't play online.
Some people make fun of my playstyle. What do you guys think about it?

You do you.
Also, you do you.
Also, don't forget to you do you.
Keep in mind that repeating the same sentence doesn't exactly strengthen its point.
But most importantly, you do you.
Only don't do you if your understanding of fun in videogames ruins the fun for other people (griefing, trolling). Unless it's mario party. Then you do you.

I remember first seeing this when I read an article saying it got over 60,000 signatures now it's going over 120,000...
Can't really say much about this, except for one the concept art was from a fanmade thing and secondly, I recall the petition's original goal was 75,000 signatures.
Thus I haven't heard anything about it's date, so I can't wait to see people watching videos of (possible) data mind from the upcoming demo and seeing these two not in the files, with people popping up comments saying "where's Harambe?," lol.
Also seems like out of all the new Pokemon and the Alolan forms we've seen, we seem to be running out of unused typings.
Yet, some of the new typings have quad weaknesses which was a common weakness for making new Pokemon in the past.
Now it seems like they're not being bothered about it, since we have Salandit, Alolan Ninetales, Sandshrew, and Rattata.
Has anyone been keeping up with the "Chinese Riddler" lately?

good to know i am not the only one
same
That was my BW play through in a nutshell, Theta Emerald really doesn't support this kind of playstyle though, so I'm getting more strategic.
Like I was looking up the Chinese riddler, and after all of these riddles we've been getting from him that have been confirmed to have real answers (Since the bird image in 2015), he reposts a leak saying some crazy stuff that would change Pokemon a bit (mainly the pre-evo legendary Pokemon).
I'll post this list up but I can't really say if it's real or not, as the previous leaks that hooked up to speculation were debunked and their original source (i.e. 4chan) were no longer not as credible.
Thus, I thought this was pretty neat to talk about (may also contain my thoughts on this):
>-UB aren't catchable. They are the true enemies in the story. (I don't really like the whole "unobtainable thing as I'll eventually find it weird in gen 8 when I think about the Ultra Beasts, though being the main enemy is awesome.)
>-Lillie's mother (Lusamine) studies hyperspatial pokemon (UB) (Don't have much to say, as we don't have enough proof to 100% confirm this.)
>-Lillie It's involved in the plot. She and UB merge in the climax. (Can't wait for the data mind in the demo to see if this is true,
>-Alola have 3 professors, Lusamine studies hyperspacial mon, Oak studies alolan formes, Kukui studies Z power (Z moves and Z forms, which are induced by Z moves) (This makes sense, but why would he answer his own question?)
>-Chinese starters are real. Grass/Flying, Fire/Dark, Water/Fairy. No split evos (I think we would know this by now, since Mallow was seen back in June before her reveal in August.)
>-Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, Rockruff, Rowlet, Litten and Popplio have Z forms in their final evos (Is this why he's saying he can't post post the reason he uploaded this yet?)
>-Jangmo-o is the pseudo (Good, we all speculated that, but I hope they don't make it the second cute girly pure Dragon type. )
>-Alolan Fearow, Nidos, Golduck, Golem, Rapidash, Muk, Weesing (So the 4chan leak is being debunked now, and from the pokemon community's looks, they think Pokemon who were shown already will not get an alolan form.)
>-A new pokemon can evolve in Solgaleo or Lunala by a special method (What? This is crazy another thing that makes me think this is supicious out of the rest of his leaks.)
>-Marshadow is Ghost/Fighting (Okay, so I guess Harambe isn't going to be a Pokemon, jokes aside I guess this will work for it but I don't see what will make this Ghost/Fighting)
>-No new megas (Kinda obvious...)
>-No PWT in Alola. (I forgot this existed and it came from ym favorite Pokemon rpg too, but this is unfrotuante to hear, however...)
>-Battle Frontier come back (Wait, you're answering another riddle that didn't get any proof whatsoever?)
>-New dolphin pokemon, pure Water. Evolve in Water/Dragon (Dolphin pokemon in the chinese leaks, and the idea of Water/Dragon evolution is what I'm waiting to be de/confirmed.)
>-Rugby gorila is Ground/Fighting (This was a bit obvious in my opinion, I mean the pokemon idea sounds exactly like a Ground/Fighting type.)
>-Comfey evo is humanoid. Their loop is in their waist now. (What?)
>-Boundsweet evo is paprika-like. Grass//Fire (This was from a debunked leak, and it's being brought up this is just ridiculous to play around with as I'm really hoping for a Grass/Fire type.)
>-Morelull evo is a larger Morelulll. Type and ability are the same (Can't wait to see how it may truly evolve.)
>-Salandit evo. Type and ability same (Sort of obvious, the new typing and stuff for competitive play wouldn't be fair if it only got it's basic self.)
>-Wimpod is the new Magikarp. Same type, change ability to Unnerve or Pressure (Another speculated rumor, but I think the remaining the Bug/Water type idea is bad, they could've done a a a Bug/Dragon type evolution.)
