You can run Pokemon Go in Android 4.0+, the problem is if your hardware is incompatible, like mine :(

I was just looking up random Pokemon Sun and Moon stuff, but when I saw a news article about the complete new Pokemon list (new Pokedex) of a total of 104, I must say it is pretty interesting:
Spoiler: show
Image
The problem of thinking it's real or not is mainly cramped with several reasons, might just be me but I certainly hoping it's real I like the names from these mons:
-The names sounds very real and clever for a Pokemon.
-The typing on these seem to be based off some popular unused typing (Sadly, no Dark/Fairy...)
-Marshadow's speculation seems extremely close, the name 98% sounds like the same name, just with an L instead of an S, also the third (fourth?) Dark/Fire type.
-The Alola guardians have a type connection between Oricorio.
-The leak has some connections to the Chinese rumor, it even has the six leaked monsters though I can't tell where would the monkey be located in this.
-The evolution for some of these are also a main problem, but hey they're changing Pokemon this year?

This is the biggest leak for Sun and Moon yet, this also seems more legit than the badly made gen 6.5 leak, and additionally makes more sense.
This leak came from 4chan, and so did this image.

Except, where is Gigareki? That was trademarked around the time of Marshadow, so if Marshadow was actually a thing, Gigareki probably would as well.

You're right, I forgot Gigareki was also trademarked, maybe he's probably one of the 3 hidden mythical Pokemon (Then again, it's too early for me to predict that).

I got Emerald 368 a few days ago, its actually a lot of fun. What Emerald 368 does is it allows you to catch all 368 Pokémon without trading or hacking, thus allowing you to finish the Pokedex. I'm creating a list of locations for the game, as the only existing one is largely incorrect. I can not link you to the download, just look up pokemon emerald 386 locations, Its the one on pokemoon. Ignore your antivirus, its a .gba file and will not harm your computer.

Here is the list. I will add more in the future.
Spoiler: show
1 Bulbasaur- Alteration Cave and behind the Professors lab
2 Ivysaur- Evolve Bulbasuar
3 Venasuar- Evolve Ivysaur
4 Charmander- Alteration Cave and behind the Professors lab
5 Charmeleon- Evolve Charmander
6 Charizard- Evolve Charmeleon
7 Squirtle- A starter Pokémon, Alteration Cave and behind the Professors lab
8 Wartortle- Evolve Squirtle
9 Blastoise- Evolve Wartortle
10 Caterpie- Route 104
11 Metapod- Route 104 or Evolve Caterpie
12 Butterfree- ???
13 Weedle- Route 104
14 Kakuna- Route 104 or Evolve Weedle
15 Beedrill- Evolve Kakuna
16 Pidgey- Route 101

Okay, this just happened and I needed to write about this somewhere.

So, be me, playing FireRed. Having a good time, heading to the Power Plant to catch a female Electabuzz for breeding purposes. I was surfing over there without a repel, because I just don't tend to use them. I found a wild level 10 Tentacool, nothing special. And suddenly, I get a wild encounter, only this time, it's different. The encounter theme is different, more high pitched. And what do I see next?

Image

THIS HUGEASS THUNDERCAT WHO CAN WALK ON WATER AND IS AS TALL AS MICHAEL JORDAN APPEARS

Fortunately, I heard of a bug in FireRed/LeafGreen where if you use Mean Look, Arena Trap, etc. on a Pokémon, and it uses Roar, the Pokémon gets deleted from existence, and Raikou knows Roar. Therefore, I masterball'd him.

EDIT: Turns out Michael Jordan is taller than Raikou.

Someone put this on GameFaqs. Quick!
Being serious, could you explain a bit more about what you did to find him? If you can't its fine, I'm playing 386 Edition anyway but it would be cool to see (and brag) about.

It's probably something strangely specific like Missing.no. Maybe.....

You do realize it's a roaming legendary, right?

But does it just show up like that? Or is it like the legendary birds in B&W 2 where they appear in random places but you have to interact with them to start the battle?

The legendary birds in B2&W2 are roaming Legendaries, so yes. Also, after a bit of looking up, in FireRed and LeafGreen, only one of three beasts appear depending on your starter's weakness. If you chose Bulbasaur, you get Entei. If you chose Charmander, you get Suicune. And, if you choose Squirtle, you get Raikou. They first come when you defeat Team Rocket in the Sevii Islands. Maybe this will help, since you are using Emerald?

I think you mean in either Platinum or XY, the birds aren't in Generation 5 at all. In fact, BW2 doesn't have any roamers.

And also, if you're into competitive, be prepared for a disappointment when going after the beasts in FR/LG. Sadly, they have terrible IVs.

Never heard of these Pokemon. Sound like some new ones that have special design.

Emerald 386, which amps up the difficulty and allows you to catch all 386 Pokémon available, enabling you to complete
the pokedex.

Oh, sorry. It's been like 7 years since I last played. It was Platnium for the DS.

I honestly feel that Pokemon games are lacking nowadays. While the series has had a lot of great games,
that unwillingness to move forward which Game Freak has had for a few years isn't doing it for me. (I don't count Pokemon X/Y. Fanservice IS
NOT an improvement. Also, presentation doesn't matter if everything else's lacking.)
It says a lot when PSMD is better than the newest mainstream game in the franchise for me.

5th Gen really made me think about the series. I started messing around with ROM hacking tools, drawing concepts for "fakemon" &
thinking how to make the player have more choices & possibilities while playing the game. How to improve & add to the simple gameplay
in order to offer a more challenging but also more diverse experience. At this point one of the probably best ways to experiment with
the gameplay formula is with Pokemon Essentials + RPG Maker XP or something else.

The thing is that I really want to deliver New Extra Mario Bros. before starting something that huge at some point but
I both lack at LUA & my mental health state is well, bad. (Let's hope I can get into it before I lose my sanity. I might need help though.)

Pokémon was never about a huge twisted story, its about catching Pokémon and battling your way to champion, Nintendo has even said they put gameplay over story. As a plus, you have to understand how much effort they put into X/Y. They converted almost 600 Pokémon from 2d sprites to 3d models and added a shit ton more. That shows dedication. It shows they care.

When I started to hear things about this, it actually lit me up letting me understand why X and Y barley had much things that were "new" and fact the games were pretty easy.
I mean every model in the game, probably goes beyond 800 total, maybe even close to reaching 900 3d models total!

Thou from what I'm seeing, Sun and Moon seem unlikely to lack much as X and Y, and hopefully the games don't lack the same amount as X and Y, oh and speaking of Pokemon....

I'm surprised that no one ever discussed about the new information yesterday and two days ago, not even the August 12th trailer:
Spoiler: show
I never liked Stufful since it was revealed on Corocoro.

So far the things I've heard about the 7th Gen have been pretty interesting. Game Freak can probably focus on making improvements to
all aspects thanks to the ground work done for Pokemon X/Y. (Like what 4th Gen did. Similar situation.)

I hope that Pokemon Sun/Moon aren't going to be among those overhyped games.
