I don't exactly know if this is the right place to post this, but...

I had been under the impression that SMBX was dead after the old site got taken down. After doing some digging around at the Wayback Machine today (and by that I mean reverse searching one of the Mario wallpapers on google), I found you folks again. I am quite surprised that this still exists, and would like to personally congratulate the community for making it this far. I'm a big fan of SMBX, had it for years.

That's about it really.

My apologies for not noticing the introduction thread. Also, to clear up any potential misunderstandings, back then I never had an account on the forums or anything; I was just one of those anonymous users of SMBX. I first started SMBX some months before the release of the "The Great Castle Adventure", or was it the original "The Great Empire"..? I can't remember. Anyhow, it's good to see that some folks are still trying to work on this thing!

This is not the original forum though. It is a completely new place. You should also check out 2.0 (SMBX is sort of back in development, but it has a new dev team and actually involves hacking) If you are looking for the latest version of the game.
