This seizure thing would also apply to the spark.
EDIT: also related to the rank post count, why does it always go like this? E.g. After 50, one rank per 10 posts, after 100, one rank per 100 posts, After 1000 posts one rank per 200, then after 2000 one rank per 250, etc. I'm not complaining about the gaps this time, but isn't this system a bit cliche? I mean, the numbers per rank are almost the exact same as on other SMBX forums.

Please tell me you're joking. People can be prone to seizures, and one of the causes is flashing colors. I know a few people who experience seizures from flashing colors, so don't speak bullshit.

That's how ranksets work.

Ex:

0 - goomba
10 - koopa
30 - red koopa
60 - fishy
100 - spiny
and so on.

Knux is serious, he's definitely removed some of my signatures that animated fast back then. They were more eye rapey though since they weren't 32x32 images.

That's how all ranksets work. On Acmlmboards, phpbb, everywhere. If they were all the same, then it would take less time to get the rank up, no? That takes all the fun out. Especially for the bigger posters.

We (Valtteri) decided the intervals between each rank himself. It's commonly how ranksets work on other forums.

I think that's improbable, because for one Green Birdo isn't in SMBX natively and also because there's only been one color variation of other enemies with color variations, like the Koopas and Shy Guys.

Probably not, since the enemies will usually be against a colored background during SMBX gameplay. I think it's a problem because the spark/koopa shell is against a white background here.

Spark and the Rainbow Shell have been replaced due to the possibility of seizures as a result of their flashiness.
