$5 Joey did NOT demote him because he finally discovered it was a good idea to demote inactive staff but instead demoted him because Kley asked to be demoted.

Kley did actually ask to be demoted (to some extent), though Joey also made the decision based on his behavior in an IRC conversation this morning and general inactivity.

Calling your user base kids is a really poor way of going around things. It's just going to anger people more.
From what I've observed, the staff team have a tendency to deal with situations in the worst way possible or at least in a way that is totally unnecessary and could be dealt with easier.

While I generally agree with you, let's remember that Knux also appeared to leave and "stop trying" for several months after he deleted his forum back in August.

But yes, qig does make a good point. Whether it's Knux or not doesn't really affect the validity of his argument.

Anyway, I think this thread has kind of served its purpose now that there has been a change in staff. Does anyone object to this?

Demoting one person =/= full change in staff.

We still only have one active administrator, something needs to be done about that, as things need to be done on this forum still.

I don't think the purpose was to make a small change in staff. There are still issues that are being discussed, not just moderation inactivity.

Well yes, however Valtteri has been more active as of late which is why I think enough changes have been made. That is unless you want to go after Quill in which case I wouldn't be able to support you on since he has been around more than Kley lately. Sure I think he isn't doing as much on the forums as I've said before, but it's not at the point where he needs a thread for his replacement.
