Look at the original rules. Safety votes have beem used in some game and then carried on from there on. Joey is right, Safety votes are against the original rules. And since Safety votes have just been implemented in some game anyways and have been taken as granted afterwards, I'll remove Safety votes also bc of personal preference. You don't evem have to vote, you can just say who you suspect and you won't risk a phantom.

I thought daily lynches were mandatory. Also, if I may add, TNT and Igno, two mods, have participated in Mafia and haven't said anything against Safety lynching, so I didn't know that.

Not voting does risk a phantom. I know that "phantoms" have never been clearly defined, but you do have to vote.

Anyway, I was silenced during the last phase and couldn't voice my opinions on what was going on.

I don't see how you can find barely any evidence on Night 1, and the whole entire Day phase, I was at school. I saw that Igno said that Nien was Redigit, so I voted, then the day ended almost instantly.

There was talk about it in either M1 or M2 but we may not have reached a definitive conclusion - and even if we did, I think the circumstances may be different. And even if they weren't, those game threads are gone anyway.

The point is that we discussed the "no insta until that player has posted" rule back in M1. Nien was insta'd before being able to post, so that's why he was concerned.

The only things worth reading were probably that

A) Igno was right about Nien
B) Joe claimed Blueoak

To make this clear to anyone who hasn't seen it (especially @Nickname since he's the game host), lynchings may not end until the target of the lynch gets one final chance to argue for themselves. If they give up in this chance, they will be instant lynched. If people change votes afterward, then obviously they aren't killed immediately.

This will be added to the rules topic as well as a clarification on safety votes.
