Hello! I have big NEWS! I will do an update for this project because it contain a lot of glitch (music stop, 2player coop castle bug, luigi sprite, horizontal twomp, card game....) It is gonna be the final version of SMB3 Remake for SMBX!
So now i continue working on this Episode! Can't wait to post the final version here

Oh ho, I love it, and as for World 3's beach level is replaced with a water level, World 4's forest/jungle is replaced with a giant level, and World 7's mountain level is replaced with a pipe level, although to be honest, I like how you made that.

Really great looking except for the dark world in-game levels. I personally feel it would be better to remake the "original" dark world graphics instead of the SMA4 ones. They look way dark world-ier. That's my opinion but you seem to be structuring it after the SMA graphics more.

That's because this is pretty much a direct remake of the SMAS version, and he can't just put NES GFX in there. Of course, he could've changed the GFX for the Dark World, but that'd defeat the purpose of this being a pretty much unchanged port.

Oh wow! This looks amazing! He has done better than me according to the screenshots. I am remaking SMAS. Naming it as Super Mario All Stars ++. It'll include SMB, SMB2, SMB3, SMBLL, SMW and a brand new game. Well, you've done a little better. How about adding yours to mine and see and compare it? Well, I only finished World 1's map on the .wrd file anyway. I'll make the rest soon.

Hey Phil, I am new to this community and the only SMBX episode I have played is Invasion (I believe?).
Long story short, I ran across this episode of yours and thought immediately that this is one I would want to play because Mario 3 was my childhood. I saw this comment that you will be doing some bug fixes and was curious as to any ETA on it, I would love to LP the final version for my youtube channel when you are done. (Please dont read in a pushy tone, I am just curious. I understand from other comments that you are fairly busy)

The final version is 98% done! This is completly a new game! All levels, all bonus, all airship, all worldmaps, are now accurate and remastered. This Episode now contain 192 levels including every toad house and spade game! The Episode is now made for coop, it is going to be the first SMB3 Multiplayer Game ever! I will update my Game Presentation very soon! And after that, this amazing episode will be yours!

How did you get 192 levels exactly? Does SMB3 really have that many?

There is no World-e levels for now, sorry for that. At first i was going to make them, but i figured out it was not possible, airships use multi directional scrooling and it is not possible to create the collecting pieces mechanic because you can't add more than one star in each section of a level. I have less time for smbx during week because i work 50 hours/week. But i think i will finish this in 2 or 3 week..
I have to fix few last things and arrange the end credit before posting it, i'll do my best.
One thing that i am looking for a solution is the level 1-3, how will i add the flute on this level... the player have to hold down for 5 seconds on a white sizable to go in a foreground area... the only way is a 'pipe warp' over the sizable.. and this will lead you to the foreground section of the level... but it is going to be weird.. and i can't activate an event that will only show a warp when you hold down for 5 sec... i may cancel this flute
Every toad house are now different, giving good item for the type on world you are in. You can return in every toad house as many time as you want. I did this because in SMBX you can't have the item inventory like smb3. And for all the spade game, DiamondPhoenix made a incredible one! It will be in this episode, and you can only play this level once, like smb3.
My first version look so shitty now, lol!

Hello Phil, Is there a way to get the Warp Whistle? (Go to Level Editor, Go to the First dungeon.) You'll see a whistle warp on the editor.
On that dungeon, i tried the classic method to get the magic whistle (Flying all the way) Then i went right, pressed up but nothing.
What's the point of having a Whistle room if it's impossible to get it? (Not trying to be mean here)
Anyways, on a block (That is also impossible to touch) I saw that theres a warp that leads you to the Whistle room.
I would be happy to have these, as it makes most of SMB3. Anyways, I hope the final version doesn't have bugs.

In the first version, this warp whistle is available, you were probably not behind the door. I remember it was working, but anyway, now this dungeon is now exactly like the original, and the invisible door for the whistle room is better now. The final version is going well! I am very close of the final product!

Oh, It was probably because i thought i got to a wall and threw myself from there.
Edit: Nevermind, i tried it again and i successfully entered the Warp Zone.

IDK how to get this to work. I extracted the file and all I found were a bunch of smb3 ROM hacks. What did I do wrong?

I just downloaded this and it had all the gfx folders and levels for the episode. I dunno what you talking about.

Extract the file into the worlds folder.
Also, this isn't a ROM hack lol

I'm very excited for the final version! I skimmed through some levels in the current version and I love it so far. Its the game I love with some little differences here and there and I am curious to explore them all when its done.
(I plan on playing all the levels when I LP it and I'll post it here)
