Those screens look pretty good. I think it might look a little better if you added a ceiling to the second screen, and maybe a little more scenery in the brown cave screens, but that might just be me, though. This project is getting close to complete. I will definitely play it when it is finished.

I won't spoil the theme but I can say that world 7 is none of that except for the cave part. And heh yeah, the Tanooki part is gonna be kinda hell-ish but I'll make it more easier since it's really hard as is.

Is' nt the mario shoe graphic hard coded just the clown car, also a neat idea would be those upside down piranha plants, put them on separate layers with invisible rinkas on another layer therefore you could sort of recreate the upside down Venus fire traps from nsmbw and have the piranha plants death trigger a hide event for the rinkas not sure if you would consider it but I think it would be a neat little suggestion though

Yeah what icez said, I can't change the shoe. And both types of the upsidedown piranha plants only face one direction, it's just a coincidence that the big ones were facing away from Mario; it'd also look weird if the piranha plants kept moving to face you anyways.

I've tried doing that Rinka thing before but I can't pull it off, I'll be fine without upside down piranha plants anyways.

My standards for level decorations aren't different and I think doing both of those things you mentioned would make my level feel crowded : P Thanks for the suggestion though, and hopefully you'll enjoy this when this is out!

The purple bombs that General Toad is throwing are kinda clashing.
Better recolor them to gray or something.

I'll consider that when I'm not lazy about it, Zant. : P

So due to rather, shitty planning, I had to finish World 7 earlier than I would like too, I only finished 6 out of the 8 levels I wanted to do; oh well, 6 is enough I guess. Anyways, I practically showed every level of World 7 already so there's not much to show, I'll only show 7-5 which will be in the 1st spoiler. I'm also gonna post the other levels in another spoiler which is only there for people who haven't seen it for whatever reason.

So yep, ONE MORE WORLD and this will be finished!!! I'm not sure how many levels I'll make for World 8 but I have one done already (my contest level). I don't have an idea on when I'll release this but it'll (hopefully) be midsummer or a little before that, that's my goal. I can't believe I"m actually finishing this, never thought I'd see the day

Once upon a time there was a Toad who stealed the Princess of the Toad King. After this a 5 Year war started between the West Toads and East Toads. West Toads had miniguns and tanks while the east toads had sniper, shotguns and helicopters. The west toads started working on a new weapon called toad gun. They then suceeded very far into the land of the east toads. When the west toads arrived into the town of the east toads they wondered why there was a trojan horse. The west toads are the ones in this episode who hate the heros because the east toad is with them so they wanna kill all of them.
