Supershroom wrote:"Desparation" only went to the people trampling the lead while it was absolutely valid, before the log was posted, and please don't point fingers to anyone who was following the lead. Witchking basically got it right with explaining why the lead was valid.
So now, in fact we're back where we started, with noone being really suspicious?
Makes sense, doesn't it? Since it's N1 and nothing has happened yet.
Well, something did happen, we've actually got an explanation from Mech, a quite plausible one, I just still hope that for the future he will stop putting emphasis on possibly being miller or not, and just saying instead "I'm town" when he is town (or if he's scum too, lawl).
Based on the death message, apparently the Mafia and TP both targeted the exact same person. What are the odds?
Also, i really hope that he wasn't the Sheriff/Mayor or Doctor or we're in some trouble.
tl;dr of what we've been talking about on #mafia on Discord:
- We suspect two parties killed Megar due to the wording of the death message. This likely means that the mafia and Serial Killer killed him (meaning the Third Party is the serial killer) but the second killer could've also been the Retired Hitman, Veteran, or Vigilante (the last two are very unlikely). Danny later seemed to confirm this, but was somewhat vague about it.
- PaperPlayer and TNT suspect me a bit, as PaperPlayer believes I was roleblocked last night. I confirm that I was in jail last night - there is a Jailkeeper in this game. TNT and PaperPlayer think it's suspicious that I didn't reveal this earlier. I explain that I wanted to keep the mafia fearful of the Bodyguard, which is now confirmed to not exist since it shares a role slot with the Jailkeeper. Their suspicion on me was largely cleared.
- We discuss who we think may have killed Megar. After deliberation, our top suspects are the mafia from M37: Supershroom, Waddle Derp, and Sanct. TNT also proposes Pseudo, Zeldamaster, ShadowStarX, and himself as suspects. All of these players are suspected as one of the killers because they respect Megar's ability as a player and would fear him as their enemy. Supershroom is decided as the top suspect, and it is agreed that we will interrogate him when he is next online.
- To clarify: Supershroom is seen as suspicious because of his history with Megar in M37, as well as his aggression towards Mechdragon during Night 1, before any useful information could be acquired.
- Mechdragon himself is discussed; most players agree that he's likely innocent, or at least not suspicious due to commonly saying strange things in the early game.
- Shroom comes online. We tell him about our suspicions on him. He says we have a much smaller lead on him than the lead on Mechdragon from Night 1. He suggests that the mafia is trying to frame him by killing Megar, who he agrees is a known rival of his from previous games. TNT and I think this is a bad defense, due to the lack of thought that is usually put into Night 1 kills.
that's basically it
others should add stuff if they feel there's something else important to add
- There is a Jailkeeper.
- There is probably a Serial Killer, and failing that a Retired Hitman
- Supershroom is the top suspect, though we don't have enough confidence to cast votes yet
"too long finish not read" twice, who knew. Any case, I am sorry if I confused anyone. (I did read both of the "too long did not read" snipits. I just can not find the start of the Discord message, can that be posted in a spoiler here. (Not a pastebin)
Okay, I'm going to just wonder one thin...
What is the main objective on changing your suspicions from Supershroom to Mechdragon just because one doesn't defend himself well?
This without legitimate thinking, it can actually ruin the chances oin/ better chance for mafia to win.
If you we should think about lynching, let's not go into an inclusion immediately.
