You mean the game Phil Dorsia apologized for for including Yoshi? I'm more of an SMB3 guy myself.

Glad to see another moderator in the movement! Can we get the big boys, Joey and Valtteri, to support our cause?

Yeah, maybe Mario needs to return to the community, except I never actually seen a non-Mario game episode yet, so unless of course this is something to do with classic Mario then I understand but just because one does not make their episodes based around classic Mario does not mean they are not a true fan, just someone that wants to innovate and bring new ideas because let's face it, don't it get boring when you play the same sort of game or under the same format. One of the reasons the New Super Mario Bros series grew stale was the fact that the same bosses were repeated over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. OK, I may be over-exaggerating this but the same Koopalings were used in all but the original New Super Mario Bros. and the Bowser Battles were the same sort of thing. Super Mario 3D land saw Boom Boom and Pom Pom on the constant comeback and while arenas are varied, the principles were repeated, and the Bowser Battles in that game were not really varied and the only one that was particularly different was the final boss in World 8-Bowser Castle 2. What made the less classic Mario games such as SMB2, SM64, SMS and the SMG games were the fact that there was a considerable amount of variation involved and they all brought in a never previously tried gimmick to the franchise. SMB2, although Birdo might have gotten a bit old with her being encountered almost every level, there were a few unique bosses at the end of each world. While some were repeated, none of those appeared more than twice (except Birdo of course). And it brought in the concept of plucking vegetables etc. SM64 introduced 3D graphics basically to gaming, SMS FLUDD and SMG gravity. SM3DW did include new bosses also.

Mario Update corner - Host: AeroMatter
It's been a dark day for the Mario community. While some will try and get in the way and separate our movement, with cruel attacks and sabotage, we will stay strong. Mario is about keeping it to the basics, not fighting. Would Mario be proud of what happened today? Probably not. Maybe Kirby or Sonic, but not Mario nor would Reggie or Miyamoto. Lua Lua and athletic levels made by fakers are tearing us apart when we should be uniting. The guidelines are simple, true, and to the point: Mario canon and policy greases SMBX's gears. We don't need flashy gimmicks, events, layers, slopes, and custom graphics. Mario is about the subtle and more nuanced aspects of levels and not the political nonsense shoved into every level now. That kid with a twinkle in his eye, and his heart on his sleeve keeps going. He keeps going because the new paradigm, the Mario movement, back to the basics, is picking up. This is good, and if we make Mario great again, this can be us. Stick to the basics, it's all right, take care of yourselves.

I have reason to believe that the head administrator of this forum might be a faker, which could disencourage some die hard mario fans
the statement that baffled me the most was the "i am the gatekeeper" part, since i don't recall any gatekeepers related to mario.

There are gates used as background objects in Super Mario Bros. 1 and other games, but it has never been revealed whether they have a keeper or not.

"Gatekeeper" was a name used for the Polluted Piranha Plants in Super Mario Sunshine, an integral part of the Mario canon.
ps: I'm done being a stick in the mud (for now)

Malleo is the only true depiction of Mario.

It is said in the Mushroom Bible that Mallelo fed 50 toads with one tanooki leaf.

No, to tell the truth, it was actually Spyro The Dragon and Crash Bandicoot who brought 3D GFXs/gaming to gaming.
