You just download it and then unzip it with a program like WinRAR or 7zip.

You don't need anything special to unlock a ZIP File. Windows itself is compatible to compress and extract a ZIP File so any program devices like 7zip or winrar isn't a necessary movement.
I still like everything you have implemented in your Pack though. Looking forward to your updates.

To use any of these graphics in a level simply do the following:
1. Make a new level and save it as whatever name you want EG. "Example"
2. Make a folder in the same directory as the level is saved in. Name the folder the exact same as the level. EG. "Example"
3. Copy all the graphics you wish to use in your "Example" level into the folder you just created.
4. Re-open your "Example" level in SMBX. Your custom graphics should now show up in their respective tabs (Blocks, NPCs etc.) If they don't show up, just re-save the level and you should be good to go.
Also general update, like usual the next update will be at Christmas. That is all.

Without it Windows wouldn't do that though..

If you didnt have windows, I think probably he/sye would not be on the forums since 90% of all PCs have windows.

Thanks PokemonLyle, I appreciate your comment. I've strived for a more "quality over quantity" pack, though there are some things that could be better. Hopefully with the coming update, there'll be a lot more usable stuff, with the inclusion of over 200 NPCs, most of which are enemies. I do have a lot of content lined up to be added, though unfortunately it will take just as much time to do.

Yeah, if you're aware of AwesomeZack's SMB1 NES Enemies Sheet, that is part of it and most of the enemies will have their Overworld, Underworld, Castle and Water palettes. As for the rest, I'll leave that up to your imagination!

If you don't mind could you please make it:
"SMB1 Blue Porcu Puffer - Squishy Rex"
Rather than
"Blue Porcu Puffer - Squishy Rex"
It will make it easier for the 8-bit pack I'm making for the ultimate GFX pack.

Yeah, that will be no problem, it should only take a few minutes to do. Funnily enough though, Porcu-Puffer is the only only enemy that I don't have a NES form yet. I think I might make one now.

You think that's a lot, I have 766 sprite sheets in a folder on my desktop that I am working ever so slowly through. Plus I'd rather it this way in any case, I have something to do when I'm bored, and there's no chance of running out of stuff to add to SMBX anytime soon.

The real question is whether most of them are MFGG/tSR rips like my future graphic folder is.

Oh yeah, you know what I mean. I guess there's the exception of a hundred or so that either I've made or are just from other sites, but MFGG and TSR are the main sources responsible here.

Well, funny you should say that, I do plan to add more stuff, considering there really isn't much available in SMBX from YI. I've added Hector the Reflector, Gargantua Blargg, Nep-Enut, Invisghoul and some miscellaneous stuff. There's more coming, though it will be enemies mostly, since the tilesets are mostly complicated. I downloaded a few more sheets earlier this week, but I need to finish some other stuff before starting those just yet.
