I'd love it if on some point, Donkey Kong would join the crew! (Perhaps replacing Purple Yoshi?)

I also want to avoid spoiling the few worlds as well.

And with my limited experience, I thought it'd be best to keep this with only Mario characters. Maybe in the future I'll try to work something out where I can utilize Donkey Kong characters, but I'll wait to see if SMBX 2 will feature them later on in its development. Otherwise I didn't want to just have DK or Diddy replace Link or another character that doesn't show their actual moveset in the DKC series.

Yes, since Link doesn't roll. And DK doesn't use downward thrust.

Yeah that's pretty much it. XP hahaha
Otherwise I definitely wanted to add them. A lot of the project right now is facing the limitations of smbx to try to incorporate a lot of DKC gimmicks, and that happens to be one of them. XP
