They can coexist in singleplayer, but not in multiplayer(yet)

Yeah I decided to touch Lunalua after my episode on another engine .
But where did the tutorial go ?

As Horikawa stated in the main post, after the release of SMBX 2.0 Beta 3, the tutorial was no longer relevant. The characters now have character blocks for each of them and cheats to access them and are automatically loaded. This means no additional LunaLua stuff is needed anymore. In terms of NPCs, the new ones can be found in the editor and dragged and placed like the 1.3.0.1 ones

I came from Hongkong and I'm studying in China . However Google is blocked on Chinese Internet . So I can't visit Google .

With the latest beta being released, you don't need to code, because the new editor runs on lua code seamlessly, allowing starmen to be placed without replacing other NPCs. :geek:

Is there any way to access the new characters from the launcher menu without having to use the player blocks?

Currently, not yet. You can only access them via Lua, the world map, or player blocks at the moment. We're working on it.

Originally, the OP mentioned that you had to replace a certain NPC and use some LunaLua code to get it to behave the way you want; now that we've moved further on, you can just use it right off the bat.

This is no longer relevant because this was a guide for the older version of SMBX 2.0, which required you to write some Lua to get the new features. In SMBX 2.0 Beta 3, the new features are available right in the editor, so this is totally unnecessary now.
