Rank 37 for me. Not too bad, I can live with this. (Especially since I expected to do much worse than that, lol.)
I'm gonna comment on some of the points you judges brought up.

If I could, I'd just reduce the speed of the firebars (like it's possible in Super Mario Flash, as far as I know). However, SMBX doesn't have an option like that, sadly, so I had to use what I could use. Sorry about the inconvenience. :/
Bomber57 wrote:Another issue is the switch block puzzle room. If you fail the puzzle, there is no way of resetting it, forcing the player to suicide.
I tried to find a way to make the puzzle resettable but couldn't find one...

You just had to hit two switches and that was it. I struggled between giving the player 5, 10 or 15 seconds, but eventually decided for 10 after some testing since I felt that was enough time. I'm gonna keep that in mind next time.
Chad wrote:Also, the enemies in the first key room aren't placed well, with Koopas bouncing around unpredictably in a narrow space and being on top of you within seconds with Hammer Bros close by.
I didn't feel this was too hard, actually. And I somehow had to make this more difficult. Two Hammer Bros alone felt too bland.
Quill wrote:Hey, jackass. Metal music is the shit.
The level was meant as a reference to Kep who hates that "noisy crap where the lyrics are all about people burning and screaming" (or something)... I'm a huge fan of metal music, actually!
Quill wrote:...and it was easy to pick up vegetables instead of bombs.
The bombs were meant for those who dare to enter the boss room as Link. With the other four characters, you're supposed to use the vegetables. You can hit the boss with both.
TNTtimelord wrote:First off, freaking props to you for finding and using an 8-bit cover of a METALLICA song!
Hell yeah! \m/
TNTtimelord wrote:It didn't really feel at all special when it came to anything innovative, other than the beatboxes.
You can't put much innovation in a level when it's 8-bit only.
zlakerboy357 wrote:...and the level's start was pretty silly.
I know right? XD
zlakerboy357 wrote:The boss was a bit hard and I recommend reducing the enemy number.
I tried different set-ups with two, four, five and six beatboxes. Two was too easy, five and six were too hard. So I chose four.
