actually there are 2x2 pixel versions of the tilesets made by multiple people. You can find them in the graphics packs or the the Ultimate Graphics pack that Squishy Rex put together.

That would mean the nsmbu ones would fit aswell but they do. IDK why the shitty nsmb graphics are in the new graphic packs i once looked at them and they really terrible. There are good ones that look fine in smbx though but thats just my option.
