Some music I added in levels won't play.

Postby FireyPaperMario » Sat Oct 04, 2014 10:05 am

Hey, I been using a lot of music that I downloaded from video game music sites, and when i type in the .mp3 file of that music in some of my levels and clicked custom, nothing plays. When i was working on the first level of "Mario Gaiden", the 2 music I added work, (Peach's Castle [Super Smash Bros. 64] & Mine Cart [Donkey Kong 64]). What's the error of this?

The same problem it seems alot of people do with that is the Music file has to be in the same file as the Level. Say if the level is in a foulder. And the music file is on the desktop. Move the Music file to the Foulder That the Level is in

Of course, if the music file is in the same directory as the level, and you have the name of the song typed in correctly, but it still won't work, try this:

If that doesn't work, and there are no decimals in your music file, I don't know how to help you.

You shouldn't get .mp3s from sites since 99.999999% of the time they don't work/mess up your computer by causing pop-ups which lead to viruses/are basically just bad. Your best bet is to find what you want on YouTube, and use a YouTube to mp3 converter to get your fully-functional .mp3.
