Assistance with tileset I'm making. (Update!)

Update! I've revisited this tileset, and recolored it to SMB3's palette.

How does it look?

First off, change the hue of the tileset to yellowish.

Add the texture into the floor. Experiment making it look like stone.

I dunno, man. I personally think it's kinda better mono-color like that. Maybe that's just me, though.

Just add something to it besides blankness. It looks better that way. Trust me.

I can't really think of any patterns that wouldn't make it look wonky.

I think he means the patterns of tilesets like this one is like Green Hill Zone but no colour
