Custom music not looping

Postby Purple Phanto » Sat Jan 25, 2025 3:24 pm

I tried to make my custom background music loop using Audacity with "LOOPSTART" and "LOOPEND" but it doesn't work.
I looked at files from existing episodes online and everyone did it the same way, so what did I do wrong?

I use OGG-files,
the files are pretty short
and my Audaicty version is 1.3 Beta (Unicode)

Any ideas?

There's another tool that can do it. It's from here:

both loopstart and loopend need to be 9 digits each, with zeros put in front of the other numbers to make it 9 digits.
so in the image you have, loopstart needs to be 001810042, and loopend needs to be 005607970. i had this same issue till looking at a video guide which didn't exactly specify that the extra zeros were needed.

the leading zeroes shouldn't be needed, it's just my habit since it makes me more confident that i input all the numbers in the correct order. infact when i made the guide, the people who implemented ogg looping support told me i was spreading misinformation with it. but i guess if it works it works lol
