Violet Vortex

Hi everyone! Violet Vortex is a project for SMBX 38A that I've been working since the start of the year. I aim it to be a minisode filled with a bunch of ideas that I've been accumulating for the past few years, but since I somewhat struggle with finishing levels, I've planned on keeping it short, about 8 - 10 levels. But don't let that be a letdown!

On a faraway place, Bowser and Kamek are doing all sort of mischievous experiments regarding artifacts that can supposedly bend the reality. With Mario nowhere to be found, our new hero will be Violet, a young toad girl that arrived on the island after a series of unknown events. Now, she, along with a race of mysterious cave dwellers, must put an end to the evil plans of the King of the Koopas an his trusty sorcerer.

This deserves more attention. The last screenshot has stray smb1 snow-ground tiles in the background. I don’t know whether this was intentional or not, but it looks very strange.
