Super Mario Lost Arts is my first ever mini-episode in Super mario bros. X2, ive been working on this for about a month or so and finally have finished.
This is a project i made solo with the help of AppleTheTomato with some scripts and MrNameless for some sprites.
This project was a place for me to attempt level design and balancing with a full mario game, and although its certainly not perfect its an enjoyable challenge
Story:
Mario has defeated bowser once again in his recent journey to stop him from obtaining the stars hidden in the mushroom kingdom. As he walks back to the mushroom kingdom, the cake and grand feast on his mind. Bowser has returned once more! Having found stars outside of the mushroom kingdom, he uses the power of the four stars to take mario's abilities to motor spin, twirl, dive, and ground pound away. Mario must now chase bowser across the mushroom kingdom to obtain his abilities again!
Description:
Run through 11 mandatory levels and obtain all the 3 star coins in each level to unlock bonus levels, if you obtain all of them you might even be able to unlock a bonus ability and special world!
There are many bonus areas along the way! Toad houses, minigames, and more!
Despite this episode not being subject to change after release (As i will be working on different projects) Critique and feedback is still appreciated!
