How to teleport player with events in SMBX2?

How do I teleport the player to a section that I selected with events in SMBX2?

I tried, but the player doesn't get teleported to the section that I selected.
Is there a way to make this?

With events? Show a layer with an instant warp on the players position.

I created in everything and it teleported the player to the section I selected (with events only).

EDIT: For some reason, after I shown a layer with an instant warp on the player's position, the player gets teleported to the section I chose automatically. Is this a known bug? Is there a way to fix it?

Bug? Instant warps instantly teleport a player standing on the warp's entrance to the warp's exit. What's the unexpected behaviour, here?

you're supposed to keep the layer hidden by default and then show it when you want the player to teleport. keep in mind though that if the player's movement is completely unrestricted they might just move out of the spot where the warp is and then they won't get teleported when you want them to.

I've used the layer (hidden) in a level and it works just fine.
