custom background help!

ok so i tried making my first custom background for and it appears just fine on the editor but when i test it it's pitch balck i tried jpeg and png and the same thing hapened...

if you're using smbx2, you might've accidentally generated a background template file (which by default fills it to black). check to see if there's an ini file in your level folder with the same name as your background and if it contains something like "fill-color = "black"". if it does, remove that text and see if it fixes the issue.

didn't do much in fact it doesn't show up at all now...

could you perhaps send a zip file containing your level's custom assets? there's not a whole lot of other information for people to go off of if they want to help you otherwise.
