Heya all, twas looking for a thread that had a "Showcase what games yuo're playing" section, and I guess I found it. So I figured I'd do that here. Why not. ^^

Just recently started myself a new channel where I just play through games, called MidiPlays:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChDRCz ... R42Z2DIGRw

Also made a Backloggery of what is on that Channel:

http://www.backloggery.com/MidiPlays

Currently uploading Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, and have uploaded Super Mario Bros and Shantae, Risky's Revenge. There will be more stuff too. Also, if you need footage for any of your videos, you're free to use anything I upload on here. It's one of the reasons I"m doing it. ;)

A while ago I've completed a short rpg, made in rpg maker, Eternal Senia. The gameplay is fine, I guess, but the thing I was thrilled by was the plot. This is such a drama, I couldn't hold back my tears after completing all 3 endings.
Spoiler: show
There aren't any good endings. Just KYS

I spend more time nowadays learning game design than playing games. Maybe it is because
most of the modern games are simply not worth my time. It feels like most of the game
indrustry just want to cash in on unsuspecting customers & commoners. As a man who regards
video games as an art form, I have isolated myself away from TV, most of the internet, radio
etc. to dedicate myself, my passion & ambitions to video games.

Unfortunately, the magic ticket called "talent" yet again abandons me in the popular culture's
twisted "Survival of the Fittest". I am lucky for not being weak-minded or you know, dead by suicide, but
my "prize" for following the path is loneliness and despair.

As I've said countless and multitude of times before, Roblox was better before the 2012 era made it a kiddy hangout game.

Roblox in the early 2000's was great, when I first played it as a kid, it was place of fun where you could ride dragons and fight using rockets and swords, even go to a pizza place.

Roblox, today, has corporate decisions that are understandably good for the game's lifespan, but cringy neverless.

The removal of Tix, the number one currency in Roblox was understandable, but made the game seem more like a cash grab for kids to bother their busy parents to buy them "Builder's Club", I remember there was a Lifetime Builder's Club option, but I think it's gone now.

The several clone games clutters the homepage over the good ones.

I'm glad there's still some good games on the site, such as the Pokemon and Mario ones, but it makes me sad, when I see Roblox, now a empty shell filled with money and greed, it was my childhood game, now it's a corporate businessman that thrives on cringe.

Roblox has changed, for the better of it's lifespan but for the worst of how it is now.

Would it be okey if I posted a game I made in the forum? It's a getting-to-know-you app called Graytomo.

I just played 0°N 0°W, and it made me want to vomit.

When I first played I really didn't like it, but for some reason I just cannot stop thinking about it. It's a memorable experience that I haven't seen before in a game, but I mean that in the weird modern art sense. Like, I guess it accomplished what it set out to do, providing a journey into the unknown, but it made me feel frustrated and desperate.

If someone else has played this game I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts.

I recently started a retro-gaming focussed Livestream channel on twitch called http://twitch.tv/3UP_Moon and I've been having a great time revisiting some RPGs from my childhood~ I recently completed a Randomizer run of Earthbound (SNES) but in a challenge mode called Ancient Cave Mode (it tosses out the story and reshuffles all the areas of the game into an 8 level labyrinth, with a boss at the end of each level)~ It was really fun~

I attempted a Nuzlocke Challenge (essentially Hard-Mode) run of Pokemon: Fire Red Version on GBA, but failed our first attempt, and now I am streaming Final Fantasy IX (FF9) which is a total nostalgia trip~ I loved this game and have a very vivid memory of getting it right when it came out~ It's been really fun so far streaming it and especially of note, is the music and the visual atmosphere of the game. Final Fantasy 9 is a real return-to-form and I'm happy to be experiencing it live with the viewers ~

I stream daily, if anybody felt like checking out the channel

Is there anyone who can recommend me some retro RPGs or modern RPGs that really struck a chord with them? I am also highly interested in playing games with incredible soundtracks that I haven't played before~
