So uhhh what is the difficulty of this so I can think before downloading the episode if it is easy-medium then I'm downloading but if it's hard then not.

Most stars are easy or medium. There's only a few that can be considered hard, and you don't need all the stars to unlock the tiers. However you need all of them to get to the final stage; you can always use outsider powerups or cheats as a last resort for the hard ones.

Don't let yourself be deterred from a little challenge.

Nah I don't use cheats at least not when playing the game I only use them in level editor when testing.

This was rather meant to be a general statement; cheats aren't required here if you have a medium-advanced playing skill. After some practice, some stages turn out to be a lot easier in fact than they looked first.

Though there are some stages where it's good to bring a hammer suit, or the lakitu shoe from Kuribo's Kingdom once you've unlocked that.

It's definitely worth a try and the satisfaction after getting all 100 stars will be high.

I remember playing this episode It's pretty good overall and I liked how the level designs worked for me, It feels like it inspired from Super Mario 64 and handheld remake, and luckily it's so pretty good so far and yes it's awesome.

I'm sorry, there is a glitch when I kill the King Goomba the pipe won't come down. I have done it once and it worked, but this was after I died...

Fix this please.

This episode is 4 years old

Why would they fix this now

Great episode! :-) First of all, I appreciate that Peach, like in the featured "SMB: A New Beginning"

I do wish that

the Goomba King
would say something (you've recently knocked out dozens of his subjects, after all) and that Daisy would have played a greater role, but the setting of the story more than makes up for this. It's quite atmospheric to sneak about Bowser's castle as you go and save Mario's and Luigi's friends. It complements the exploration elements of the game, too.

Also, this allowed for the original approach to sort levels by difficulty rather than theme – the level designers could just go wild, and I think the quality of the levels benefited from that. Some of the later levels I found too difficult though:
  • The fourth Star in Monty's Mines can take forever to find, unless you
    Spoiler: show
    fully explored “Kuribo's Kingdom”. I suggest there be a hint in one of the two levels regarding the connection.
  • I really think there should be another checkpoint at the castle entrance of
    Spoiler: show
    “Rosalina's Plight”.
  • As to “The Lost Level”, IIRC I needed about 50 attempts to make it to the end. To think that, after Game Over, I would have needed to play the entire level over and over again...! Please make the 2nd half less difficult.
  • The last ride on the white Bullet Bills in "Cutthroat Junkyard" I only survived by accidentally landing on the spikes and then deliberately jumping from spike to spike to quickly reach the other end. Perhaps the white Bullet Bills there should be moving faster.
  • Spoiler: show
    That timed passage in "Classic Castle"! First of all, there is no chance to end the level unless you chose Toad. True, you can quit the game (w/o saving), but I find that rather inelegant. And even if you do play as Toad and start the race at full speed, this part is so difficult as to make you wonder whether it's even possible to make it to the other end! Really, the time for extra hard challenges should have been over at that point.
Well, so much for my original intend to just drop a few lines… Hope it helps, if you release a new version or are working on a similar episode :-)

That because stars subsystem isn't implemented yet. The PGE Engine is the same WIP as on the desktop. Therefore, be careful while playing random levels and episodes are may stuck you in the game because of functionality lack.

On the next side of the door after the intro the star is taking, however, it doesn't remember in the game save because, as I have said, stars system isn't implemented yet.

I'm sorry to say this but it seems like playing on PGE Android is not an accurate indicator for actual bugs that require fixing.

Besides the creators of this episode are not around anymore.
