Weclome to Sidegames Host Sign-ups!

Here you can post your game that you want to host. Make sure you've read the Sidegames Rules and Info topic first if you aren't familiar with it.

Just a few quick reminders:
  • Recommended 10-14 players however this isn't required
  • You cannot have more than one game in the queue at a time
  • You may be asked to make changes to your game and it will be added to the queue based on the time your game was fixed, not the time it was originally posted
  • You cannot submit the same game again if it did not acquire enough users to start unless given specific permission from a Game Master via Private Message (PM); this includes if you have edited your game
  • You cannot change your game more than once (besides minor edits) after it has been approved and put in the queue

S4: Artist Antics

Mafia
Artist: Can twice in the game during the night paint themselves green or blue for the following day and night phase.
Consort: Can roleblock a player each night.
Charismatic Mafioso: Lynch votes count as two.

Town
Cop: Can inspect a player each night to learn their color
Doctor: Can protect a player each night
Dissector: Can inspect a dead player each day phase to learn their exact role.
Watchman: Discusses with the other watchman each night who they should watch to see who visited them, if one dies, they can no longer choose a watch target.

The Master
-Be the last standing.
- If the master and fan are the only 2 left, the master automatically wins.
The Master
The master can choose one of the following abilities every night: nightkill either by gun or by poison where the target dies at the end of the next day, inspect a player's color during the night, or protect themself from nightkills. He is just the best at everything. Isn't in contact with his fan. Can only choose one ability every day/night.
Fan of the Master
Loves the master to the point where he trains to be a Master. Once the master dies, his fan will be able to nightkill every night. Isn't in contact with the master.
Cardflips green until the master dies and then cardflips red.

The Ten Guys
- Kill the master and his fan.
Sheriff
Can inspect someone to learn their color.
Vigilante
Can kill a player once per night, but if he kills an innocent he cardflips red.
Doctor
Can protect someone once per night.
Identity Thief
Can choose a player during the night to copy. If he copies a blue role, he becomes an upgraded version of that role. Once he is that role, he stays that role until the next night and still cardflips red. The blue who he copied will also cardflip red while he is upgraded.(he can use the upgraded ability once.)
Copies Sheriff: Can now inspect players to learn their role.
Copies Vigilante: If he attacks a innocent, the attack will fail (unless if it's miller)
Copies Doctor: Can protect himself and know who attacked a protected person.
Doublevoter
Votes count as double. Thinks he's an ordinary townie.
Townie
Can vote once per day, but so can everyone else!

Note:
The Master:
Can't protect himself, inspect, or kill at the same time.

Identity Thief
Example:
Identity thief chooses the vigi (doesn't know who the vigi is) on night 1 and becomes it on night 2. Then he chooses vigi again on night 3 and becomes it on night 4.

The point of the master is he has lots of abilities but he is just one person against 10. Also the identity thief is supposed to be a sacrifice kind of role where you sacrifice a player for a better version of a role.

Thanks for the clarification and the Identity Thief is now definitely explained better and a weird concept, however the Master is still a little much. If you look at a lot of TPs like the Serial Killer they can win and only have one role. I'd suggest since the Master is the only opposition of the Town to make him only choose to use one ability per Night phase and make the inspection happen at Night, although for him I don't see how it would be useful to have an inspection role anyway in that case.

original version from mosaicmafia's forum, with the minor change of scaling the bounty payout depending on number of alives (as I already did for M42's signups)

Bandits
Head Bandit: major bandit who does the killing
Spy Bandit: investigates a player to find out their color or money/items
Blacksmoke Bandit: can cover someone in smoke so the sheriff and agent don't get a result on them. can use this on a teammate once in the game.
If the head bandit dies, the next living bandit (spy taking precedence over blacksmoke) takes their place while keeping their original ability.

Good Town
Sheriff: investigates for color but not money/items
Undercover Agent: can track a person to check who's visiting them.
Barkeeper: keeps someone at their bar to protect them from mafia inspection or blacksmoking. Can't use on self.
Twin brother: knows the other twin brother, but they also die together. can receive bounty cash

Townie: can receive bounty cash

Miller: doesn't know he's miller, can also receive bounty cash.
Miller

Bounty mechanic: If a bandit or miller is successfully lynched, a bounty payout will be split among all non-blue townspersons (twins, townies, millers) who had a vote on the lynched. The prize found is:
- 80 token if at least 10 players are alive
- 60 token if at least 6 players are alive
- 40 token if at most 5 players are alive

However, it will be divided by the TOTAL amounts of votes on the lynched, including mafia's and special's votes! The mafia members receive half of what the vanilla townies do, and they can only buy ballots and guns.

The following items can be purchased, with immediate use in the same night being allowed.
Ballot - 10 token: gain an extra vote
Serum - 15 token: protect someone else from the head bandit's nightkill.
Gun - 20 token: do vigilante justice and kill someone yourself.
Halo - 20 token: If you're not a miller, you reveal your confirmed innocence immediately. If you're a miller, you turn into a normal townie.

Well there's also the fan, but he is only a threat once the master dies and can be killed earlier. Also I change the identity thief so he just copies the role and causes the blue that he copied to cardflip red as well as himself.

Items:
Knife: The player in possession of this item may kill another player (gives the mafia a second kill if they receive it)
Inspection Kit: The player in possession of this item may inspect another player
Medical Kit: The player in possession of this item may protect another player from nightkills

Notes:
  • Items are used at night
  • Only townies may start with an item, but anyone can receive them
  • Players must give their items to another player of their choice the following day
  • If a Mafia Scum receives an item, they cannot give it to another Mafia Scum

-Agent - Look through documents to find out a player's alignment by random.
-Watcher - Can see one random action (who visits who, no more) per night.
-Priest - Protects one team member from death every night


Red Team:
-Witch - See through the crystal ball to find out random info
-Demon - Visit a player to silence them for the next phase
-Crow - Immune to any attacks

Purple Team:
-Cthulu - Goes out to kill a player. If visited, nothing will happen but the visitor will be silenced for the next phase. One kill every other night.
-Cultist - One cultist will inherit the powers of the dead Cthulu (starting with 1). No other special powers otherwise.

My first impression is that the purple team is too strong, especially if factions know each other. I think they should either have one fewer member or some kind of restrictions on killing (i.e. once every other night etc.) As it is, they're basically the mafia, but one third of the players belong to it, and their opposition is divided.
The other teams seem fine though

Game Mechanics:
Voting Chaos

Mafia - Outnumber the Town and third party.

Consigliere - By not voting, Can inspect one player (role).
Chaos Voter By not voting, will will be nightkill immune for the next night.
Consort - Can roleblock one user.
Anti Voter - Her votes count as -1.

Town - Kill/remove all Mafia and third party
Sheriff - Can inspect one player (color). By not voting, can inspect one player (role).
Vigilante - Can kill a player. (Must vote the next day if she hits a Blue or Green)
Doctor - Can protect a player from a single attack. By not voting, can self heal ∞ times. Can not protect the same person twice in a row. Must vote on the following day after self healing.
Jailer - Can trap a player in a jail the next night. (Roleblock + Protection)
Townie - No special abilities. May be a backup Sheriff
Townie - No special abilities. May be a backup Sheriff
Townie - No special abilities. May be a backup Vigilante
Townie - No special abilities. May be a backup Vigilante

Reverse Voter - Knife in the Box immune. May reverse the direction of everyone's vote from +1 to -1 or vice versa (They are notified). By sacrificing her vote, she can also in addition to this, can kill one player.

Double the Deputy, Nurse, Sidekick, Policeman count.
Removed the green text from the quote.
Mafia no are no longer negative voters.
Negative voter changed to a consort.
Gave Sheriff and Doctor a stronger ability by not voting.
Zero Voter --> Double Voter.
Removed Last Will.
Reverse Voter ability Change:
Every night, may reverse lynching rules. (Lowest vote is killed. tied of zero would be a Knife in the Box.) If the Reverse Voter has the lowest, she will survive a Knife in the Box in this way. Night Immune. Can kill a player every night, but must vote the following day. Votes count for -1 per dead mafia member. (-4 when town versus third party)
Knife in the Box immune. May reverse the direction of ones vote from +1 to -1 or vice versa. By sacrificing her vote, she can also in addition to this, can kill one player.

Godfather: A mafioso who cardflips green upon inspection and/or death.
Sneaker: If he is the one commicting the kill, he can't be spotted, therefore he'll be undetectable by the Watcher and the Tracker.
Stalker: Can track down a player each night to learn who they visited.
Spy: Can watch a player's house each night to learn who visited them.
Kamikaze: During the night, he may kill himself and take down another player with him ignoring protection. Cannot be roleblocked or jailed.
Doublespeaker: May fake his public lynchvote. His vote in the thread won't count when using this ability.
Charismatic Mafioso: A mafioso whose votes count doubled.
Consort: Can distract a player each night in order to roleblock them.
Blackmailer: Can intimidate a player each night and prevent them from speaking for the following day.

Mayor: May reveal his identity to a player each night. His votes also count doubled.
Jailkeeper: Can throw a player in jail each night. The targeted player will be protected from every single ability, including killing. The target will also be roleblocked when jailed.
Town Crier: Can post an anonymous message at the end of each night. This message cannot contain more than 250 characters.
Immune Townsperson: A regular townsperson who is immune to nightkills. Doesn't know that he is immune.
Freemason: Has contact with the miller. (therefore, the miller will also be a freemason if this role is elected)
Third Party roles: show
Arsonist: Can either douse a player's house in gasoline each night or light all doused houses on fire. Immune to nightkills.
Saboteur: Can set a mine on a player each night. If that player is visited by someone next night, both the target and the visitor will die. If multiple players visit the Saboteur's target, only the last visitor will die. Immune to nightkills.
Voodoo Lady: Can set a curse on a word (that is at least 6 letters long) and a player each night. Cannot use in-game terminology, player names or role names as a cursed word. If the targetted player says the cursed word, they will die at the end of the day. Immune to nightkills.
How the setup phase is getting executed:
The mafiosi will be told that they're the mafia at the start but the townspeople won't know who they are until the end of the setup phase. During the setup phase, the players will have to vote for 4 special roles of their choice. The roles which get the highest amount of votes will be the special roles on the town's side. After the setup phase, the townspeople will be told about their role. The mafia's choices won't be revealed publicly. (and neither will the Third Party's)
