SMBX 1.4.4 Custom Graphics Problem

I`ve had a problem when trying out SMBX 1.4.4 for the first time. I saved my level, made a seperate folder using the level`s exact same filename, and put my custom GFX in it. The GFX I was trying to use was the grassland GFX from this pack: viewtopic.php?t=4907. However, when I saved my level again to load the custom GFX, the game still used the default graphics. Any help?

Can you show us a screenshot of your folder?

What format are they (in 1.4 it should be .png and be automatically converted anyway, and if .gif, then they need converting)?

Also, is the level file name identical to the folder name?

Yeah, they are .png and the folder name is the same as the level.

Yeah, they are .png and the folder name is the same as the level.

Then I don't know. Maybe Catskart or another 1.4 player would help.

Also, do you happen to know where I can download 1.4.3? I think I`d better give it a shot and see if it`s fixed there.

I don't know, but you would be downgrading versions, and Catskart is a member of the forum who plays 1.4 and has bettter knowledge of than I ever will (mainly because I am a 2.0 player)
