My First Level is done!! This level is exploration of a cave level with SMB-1 All Stars Assets. I made this for 2 days in total time. Hopefully you'll enjoy my first map!! :D

I will post another level in the future, so be sure to know what i'm working on! I had no idea what to add, because This Level had no story. Maybe in the future? ;)

Update 1.1 :

- Bugfixes
- Improved Mario and Luigi Graphics from SMB1
- Improved some graphics that weren't look like things in SMB1
- Nerf on both Ludwig and Kyogre Boss Battles (i nerfed it because annoying battle)
- Added Reward Room (for easy boss battle)
- Added Story to the level, not just for pointless adventure (if you count it as a story)
The Story (for 1.1+) : (SPOILERS)

The story goes when Mario and Luigi found a big blue cave, but they didn't found the entrance so they can enjoy their adventure in the cave. They both tell those to Princess Peach to order some Toads to explore them. Some Toads reported that the cave is having a hidden entrance in one of the resident's backyard. And found that the cave is very... fascinating to explore. However, Toad that reports seems confuse why there are some of Bowser's Minions.Toad also report that the cave should be called "The Hallway Cave" because of hallway looking cave. Mario suspects Bowser to guard the cave so he can get shortcuts to Mushroom Kingdom. Mario,Luigi,Peach and Toad are going to explore the cave, find out who's behind this, and punish those minions!And They were right. Ludwig was guarding the place. Ludwig feels ready to beat up Mario,Luigi,Peach and Toad. But, Mario and Luigi only are the ones who have the access to the boss room. And Ludwig was behind those minion guarding the cave. And actually, they were wrong. Ludwig wasn't there to guard the shortcut. But Ludwig and their minions raid the cave and let Ludwig use the Red Orb to Summon Kyogre to do Bowser's Bidding. To Flood the Mushroom Kingdom so Bowser can kept Peach without letting Mario and Luigi knowing it. But Kyogre actually, fail to do Bowser's bidding. Kyogre was too powerful to control. And after Ludwig was beaten by Mario and Luigi, Ludwig was punished. Next,(after this level's event) is Roy's attempt on reviving Rayquaza.

You need to have screenshots to go along with your level topic, otherwise it's gonna get locked. Also, were the Twitter and YT links really nessecary? (You could've put them in your signature)

Even just looking at the screenshots, this is a pretty good first impression in terms of how you design levels.

I kinda really like this level, even your going to use SMB1 Mario And Luigi, But it's still fun to play.

In this screen, if you fall, you will not be able to get back up or is that water fake like the real SMB1?

Play the level to find out. You shouldn't judge by screenshots.

This level has some small issues:

You can run over the level because the tops of the ceiling are not blocked off above the level.

Given the small arena, the player is very likely to clip into the wall when these blocks appear.

This part was really cluttered, and the enemy spam on each section did not really make the fight any more interesting just more annoying. And speaking of this section, the second phase of the Ludwig fight is unnecessarily difficult and tedious. Ludwig's jump height is high enough to constantly jump to the platform above the player out of reach, and if the blocks on the sides of the arena have fallen then the player will be stuck until they get a very lucky jump or in an instance when Ludwig does not jump high enough. The firebars and thwomps are more tedious than challenging as well.

Aside from the boss section and the ceiling issue, the only other thing to comment on is the enemy placement. A lot of enemies were clumped together and were pretty much on top of each other when playing. Removing some enemies would improve this and you can probably do this while preserving difficulty. All in all though this level needs some touching up imo.
