So it's been a long time ever since i joined this piece of dogshit called the smbx community, and I've started to be remniscent of half the shit that has happened throughout my stay. And since i have some water being boiled for the noodles i'm going to be eating while watching the boondocks, i figured i'd share a glimpse of the stupid shit i've been involved in.
Back in 2012, when i was 12 years old, i stumped across a thing called SMBX, i never knew a community even existed, i just got the game from supermariobros.org, which was basically the normal website except without the forum i believe, i could be wrong and i'm probably wrong but ANyway.
I spent about 4 months trying to figure smbx out, and since i was too lazy to look up any sort of tutorial, it took me 4 months to finally do so. I did it, i was finally fucking able to extend my levels by more than 1 screen, yes, 4 fucking months.
After a while, i decided to join the smbx community after watching a bunch of chad's smbx videos, which were the bomb at the time. I made a shitty introduction thread which consisted of the typical "Hey guys! I nientiendo13, very like smbx!" or some shit (my english was still fresh) and of course the first thing i did was to ask how garro got his legendary swordmaster rank, which was basically a geno sprite with a sword. I also posted a project i had called "the final assault" which was going to feature 300 levels. Of course, that hit the dumpster very quickly, and that was also the first thread where i saw a post from the canadian shitlord named Ace, where he told me how to actually post screenshots (lmao).
Anyway, it also took me a while to join the irc. The first time i joined i got fuckign scared because the graphical design of the irc made me think it was serious shit, and i instantly left when qigcat said hi to me the moment i joined. It didnt take me long to actually rejoin though, and all i saw was a bunch of shitstains talking about terraria.
Afterwards, i pirated terraria (yeah dont fucking worry i bought it a while ago) and joined Kawata's terraria server (who was named Negu at the time iirc). There i had my first interaction with k n u c k l e s 9 6 , it consisted of us having no fucking clue on how to play the videogame, then knux stopped caring and fucked up kawata's house and then blamed me. Good times.
It keeps being terraria from there, after playing the game for a while, i decided to start my own terraria server through hamachi. I had a bunch of people join, i remember Mr. L being there (i dunno where the fuck he is right now), and some guy under a random ass name.
The guy with the random name was heartless, rude, and a really horrible person. It was a guy who apparently got kicks out of child abuse. The bastard stole useless shit from my wooden chests and then i started to cry. The guy is fucking disgusting. The man's actual name is Qig.
Anyway, afterwards, i joined MichelFP's server, who also had MegaMario1500. i became fast friends with them, to the point where we usually joined shit together. Then came Slash, who quickly got banned from the irc chat for spamming it with ascii art of the ORLY owl and we eventually sorted it out with him in a private irc channel.
You can probably tell already that at this point most of my friends were nothing but BRs, which of course lead to me eventually making friends with Magibowser (that guy is legit), i did nothing but play terraria and talk on knuxforums with shitty spelling and grammar back then.
Another encounter I had was when we joined Lorddrakko's terraria server, who is a fun ass guy. He currently goes under the name of TheLordKhon
After a while, i met some fellow people from spiclands, namely Josue (who you probably know but aren't aware of it), Mr.Spike, Castlemaster and some other people who's names i forgot. We eventually asked for the spanish subforum, where we were able to go to the spicth degree in terms of discussion. I was the moderator for it (even though i did absolutely jack shit)
Time passed, shit got blurry and we were all having a good time.
F A S T F O R W A R D T O A K N U X C E N T R A L M E L T D O W N
Basically, this was a time where someone managed to get administrator Qig's password (nice one dude) and quite literally took a shit on the forum. This was an interesting experience. My role during this was to just dig the shit i could from the MCP, because almost all the administrators and moderators got demoted by the hijacker. And it was a time where the irc drama ran rampant. This was during a time where Cloud's forum was still relevant (4Head), and erikmouse was the irc server admin, so they were of course the first people to be suspects. Along with kawata but i dont remember why the fuck he was pinpointed. I also became friends with him at some point during this.
This was an interesting time, since there was no actual gathering place for the community, so my time mostly consisted of playing with the legendary brazillians and talking about dumb shit in the actual chat. During this time i also got to know ErikMouse's background, which was one of the worse things i've ever done.
After a lot of drama, the knuxforums got back up but lost a looot of posts. I saw a lot of people leaving the forum, and that was the first time i stumbled upon SMBX: Remaste- Rebo- Revi- something, which was basically a sad attempt to try and make another smbx. Everyone hyped it to fuck, even though all it had at the time was the loading screen.
This place had a whooole different atmosphere. While knuxcentral was lighthearted and savage, this forum was lighthearted and artistic. It was run by supermarioman and Rexx, who is currently known as Blank. Said individuals were also the developers behind SMBX:R
After a while, i started to drift away from the br crew, mainly because some of them were inactive/michelfp started being emo as fuck. and since the forum was still annoying the shit out of me, all i did was make angry shitposts and stuff.
This eventually lead to me joining the irc chat, which was actually #SMBX. All i did during back then was call people there f****ts, r****s, pussies, etc. (i had no knowledge of the words n****r and a****t at the time, so please bear with me).
Sometime later, some shitstorm about supermarioman being garbage happened. This was lead by a guy named agtiger, i do not know who he is or where he went, but he definitely sparked a massive argument. Said shitstorm was composed of multiple threads, which of course lead to me to make fun about it.
When i realized knuxcentral wasn't giving a shit, i rejoined the irc chat to make fun of the incident. That's where i befriended the following shitstains: NameUser (aka Ignoritus), Ragont, TrinityFlash and Fallingsnow26, but i was really only mostly friends with ragont and trinityflash.
One thing to note: Somehow the thread that had the biggest shitstorm was the SMBX FORUM ELECTION joke thread by Ragont, which i'm pretty sure only had obama pictures and shit.
The shitstorm eventually transformed into forum drama. Said drama somehow got the knuxforums involved, and for some reason everyone was hating eachother. This was when the first merge attempt happened, though it didn't work considering it was just a new forum with nameuser's bright idea of making The Invasion 3.
This shit still exists.
After some time, ragont pestered me to get steam and tf2, so i did. This was a game i was addicted to back in the day and is complete and utter dogshit at the moment.
I joined people's servers, realized a ton of people played tf2 and started playing with them. This is where i had my re-encounter with TheLordKhon, who hosted a very peculiar server.
In here, i was friends again with a bunch of peeps from knuxcentral and got to sorta know Ace and Vinyl. I had tons of fun with them and we just played on khon's dumb ass server.
Afterwards, the shitstain named NameUser rejoined, and started throwing eternal complaints about how heavy's bowser head was fucking really hard with the game's balance or some shit. I did eventually back him up on the argument of the server having too much shit to download, so since i agreed with him, i became a bigger friend with him !
Him and ragont eventually invited me to Vandarx's server, which was where i played most of the time since khon's server didn't last long. I hanged arround with them (snow and trinityflash were there too) and got to know them a lot better. I had a lot of memorable experiences and i had tons of fun.
Back onto the smbx community. Knuxcentral was still active (although not as much) and SMBX:R eventually died, renaming the forum as the NSMBX forums. Still as artistic as ever, but it was run by reghrhre: an actually good admin.
As much as i hated the forum, reghrhre did a damn good job at keeping it alive, hosting contests, rearranging the general theme on holidays (namely christmas) and did actual administrator work. I really wish we had an admin like him at the moment
*cough*.
Anyway, life was peaceful and shit, and theeen another shitstorm happened. This was none other than the Sarge leg cancer incident. Now that shit was fucking amazing.
Basically, sarge (kingkoopashell, sergeant sanchez, whatever the fuck you wanna call him) logged into his account pretending to be under the persona of his friend Ricky and made a thread about Sarge getting leg cancer and getting hospitalized. A lot of people started to worry, but the dumb fuck started being too much of a drama queen and said some downright illogical shit. Apparently, the cause of the cancer was sarge getting hit by a car or some shit, so of course people started to doubt, mainly me and qig.
The thread continued and delved into the guy's doom, since he was retorting to our arguments with meme images, and eventually flat out said that sarge fucking died (and somehow had a 1 hour funeral or something at the same day). It didn't take long for people to push him into flaming the shit out of everyone and flaming everyone. This lead to him getting a warning.
The guy went and argued about it on irc, nameuser still being a mod he just checked his ip and found out a big shocker: ricky was actually sarge, and the leg cancer stuff was a lie. Who whouldve thought.
The guy got shitcanned very quickly
This actually lead to more drama, regarding how people acted like shit during this and a lot of leaving threads. Since people from knuxcentral were also involved, everyone started to hate eachother for some reason, so in long terms, another merge attempt happened. This was a bit more elaborate, since Joey was put into power behind this shit, and it was actually going to be a more forced merge, as both the NSMBX forums and knuxforums were going to be shut down.
Eventually, reghrhre backed out of the merge, which eventually lead to knux going apeshit and stopped caring about the forum. This was the time when Stop Online Retardation Act was founded by me, along with MichelFP, Pixy (Raster) and some other guy who i dont remember. I also tried to get ignoritus, but he immediately backed out. All we did was shittalk on knuxforums and flamed him on irc. Pretty productive actions if you ask me. The "movement" quickly died out.
Eventually, the current smbx forums (which was supposed to be the merge) were actually released (they were still in creation while the merge was happening), so both forums eventually died out and came here.
Since i heard and saw a lot of bad shit about joey, i eventually tried to make sora 2.0, also known as #fuckjoey. This was worse than the knux SORA, since all we did was flame joey in private.
Here I am now, as a 17 year old dipshit who spontaneously shitposts here and mostly plays dota. There hasn't been any bigger incidents, and there's probaly a loot more memorable shit in the past, but the stuff on this thread is mostly just shit i remember off the top of my head. It has certainly been a great experience and i'm honestly thankful for it. Since this shit happened during my early teenage years, my real life wasn't exciting in the slightest, so this long term clusterfuck definitely left me with a lot of good memories, and especially, with a lot of good friends who i currently hang out with. Thank you all.
