Sky-High Plain

They're not that bad, but they're not that good either.

Here's another level by me. It's an attempt to make a level that's like the original SMW levels.

I highly recommend reducing the amount of coins you've. Other than that the screens looks somewhat okay.

Video playthrough made:

Interesting level that takes the SMW style pretty nicely, but why are the cave sections in the SMB3 style?

I decided to not have the entire level in the SMW style, just so the theme didn't get boring over time.
Also, nice video! I like your GBA sound filter.

it's the first video anyone's ever made of any of my levels, not counting CC11 playthroughs

Review of Sky-High Plain

A level that features SMW and SMB3-themed sections, which I don't have problems with that. The design is mostly mediocre. The things I liked is the emeny variety, which stands out well and the gimminicks like dragon coins and switch block for it (would like if it was placed in somewhere else rather than in cave section). However, things that I don't like is that it has a short and unappealing gameplay, and because of that, it doesn't really require a midpoint. There's a huge amount of coins, which should be reduced to less than 120. Aside from that, the level lacks things in some areas, such as the place where the warp 2 exit is, lacks emenies, some question blocks and coins. Also, in section 4 is the cave section one, where it lacks background objects as decorations. Section 3 could use more decoration, as it feels a bit bland.

Pros:
- The design is.. pretty mediocre.
- Graphics aren't terrible.
- emeny variety stands out well.

Cons:
- This level was short.
- Huge amount of coins.
- The gameplay itself isn't that appealing.
- Replay Value for this one? Not worth it.

Overall, it's just another typical level. 3/10

Between 200 and 250 coins - I don't think coins are spammed here. Actually I've seen way more at SM63 and I find treasure-hunting to be fun and memorable in many cases and I'd be rather bored if there's very few coins to collect.
