I guess this warrants a move to casual levels.
I've also played through this and want to give some feedback:
I like the puzzle you presented in the first room. It's rather simple, but there's a few interesting things you did, such as not allowing the spring through the pipe. I think if you fleshed this out more and made it more difficult it could fill a spot of an entire level.
I didn't really like the subsequent rooms. Truth be told, part of that is on me for not being used to the floaty and slippery physics of 1.4.2. I died a bunch. Anyways..
The bullet bills & goomba room is just a huge waste of time. You perform the same jump x amount of times with no added challenge or anything to make it interesting. You also have to go back through this repetitive area every time you die later in the level.
The midpoint should have been in the beginning of the cave. The cave wasn't anything interesting and certainly nothing I expected from a level selling itself as a "Puzzle Level". It feels out of place, and performing bullet jumps without being used to the controls made me stressed out for no reason.
As far as I am concerned, the backtrack-pipe in the room with the two switches serves no purpose. Care to fill me in?
tl;dr: The first room has potential. The rest feels like filler or a different level altogether.
