SMBX 2.0 Custom Graphics

Hey everyone! I have a question that need answering. I'm using SMBX 2.0 level editor, but what I want to know is how I can ADD graphics. I understand how to replace the sprites with recolored sprites and all, but since PGE using a drop list scrolling feature, is there a way to just add new sprites to the folder?

In simpler words, I want to add more blocks/tiles that I can pick from because there is a finite amount I can recolor. Does anyone understand what I'm asking? Thanks

Currently, you can't. You can only replace existing ones with new behaviours. There are ways to get around this by using Lua, but that's a little complex. There may be a way to do this in the future with additions to 2.0, but currently SMBX doesn't support this, so neither does the PGE editor.

Do you mean Lua as in the programming language? I've had seven years of experience with it. If this new smbx doesn't support it soon, I'd like to find a roundabout using coding :o, got any idea?

There's been Lua support in SMBX for over a year now. You don't even need SMBX 2.0. There's a forum dedicated to it in case you didn't see it. :V
