DANG!
This is some nice stuff here, good job MECHDRAGON777!
Congrats to everyone else in the final tier, but funny since Darkonius and FrozenQuills got the same placement from a past CC.
I'm jealous with you Harvey36Dice, nice job on getting 9th.
But with such a low score, I can tell that we'll probably have the lowest score that a winner has gotten (beating CC3's winner).
Oh, btw Harvey I'll update the tier thing soon, just need to change some things here and there.
But me predicting the top 3 would be between FireLink, Zlakerboy and Chad was right?

Quill-factor
[kwil fak -ter]
noun
- The score given by one of the five judges in a community contest that pulls the level down to a lower place than it (presumably) deserved.
Examples:
"Man, Marina's level really got dragged down by the Quill-factor again!"

I think FireLink's level will be 1st or 3rd.
Chad's 2nd or 3rd.
And zlakers 2nd or 1st.

Rooting for a winner is like voting for the American president candidates for me.
I don't know anything about the subject.

Here is the rankings of the top 13 if Quill did not give anything and it was only four judges.
Original Order of Tier 8
Bulletbill43: 7.75
RudeGuy07(Quill did not give the lowest score): 7.9
MECHDRAGON777: 8.325
Marina: 8.1875
Harvey36Dice(Quill did not give the lowest score): 7.875
Shinbision-Kof(Quill did not give the lowest score): 8.0625
Darkonius Mavakar(Quill did not give the lowest score): 8.1875
Valtteri (Quill did not give the lowest score): 7.975
Frozen Quills(Quill did not give the lowest score): 8.3125
Enjl(Quill did not give the lowest score): 8.6
Without Quill during Tier 8
13th: Bulletbill43 (7.75)
12th: Harvey36Dice (7.87/10)
11th: RudeGuy07 (7.9/10)
10th: Valtteri (7.98/10)
9th: Shinbision-Kof (8.06/10)
8/7th: Darkonius Mavakar/Marina (8.19/10)
6th: Frozen Quills: (8.31/10)
5th: MECHDRAGON777 (8.325/10)
4th: Enjl (8.6/10)
I would be ranked 5th or better if Quill did not rank our levels so low! I feel cheated out of top 6!
Do not get me wrong, I appreciate 11th, but just the one judge having it so far off... I guess I will post the scores of this contest as if every judge was removed, so five different orders for a judge being removed? I am not targeting Quill, but I just feel sick to my stomach about this. I also see nothing linking my level to my known style. Quill said even with the arrows, he ended up going in a circle and said he was lost and confused. I would like to have a picture to where that happens. (I need to fix it for the episode). Time to record my level now.

Dude calm down. Quill isn't that great of a judge but this is still just a game.

What the fuck ever guys. Seriously. So what? If one judge judges your level in a different manner than other judges, and you know that your level is going to be judged by that person, then you should seriously expect what you get.

lmao looks like people are butthurt cuz quill didn't like their level as much.
Honestly guys I think the balance of judges is near perfect. The looks of a level matter JUST as much as the gimmick/gameplay and the design, so IMO Shinbison is a decent judge.
Good fucking lord kids stop whining when you got top motherfucking 15. I got 20th last contest and I wasn't sitting there bitching at the judges for not getting the placement I aimed for. I decided to take the criticism into account and IMPROVE myself. Even then, here some stupid comment or nitpick, take it with a grain of salt. I just don't wanna sit here and watch all you be butthurt sore losers.

Yeah, like that time Joey denied me from getting first. I got over that in about a week.
Though, can't say that, over the 6 or 7 contests I have participated in, I have changed my level making habits at all. That is, rushing the fuck out of that shit and still doing good.

Does every contest have to have people complaining about a "biased" judge?

Umm, I said I am not complaining for my placement (especially since I aimed to get top 29) but, I am also confused by Quill's review in general. I do not understand why he gave a 5.5.
Quill wrote:Quill (5.5/10)
Oh, MECHDRAGON777, what are we going to do with you? Firstly, this is a BIG improvement over Sanctuary Fortress 2, so props for that. However, there are some pretty major flaws. I think the concept of radiation is super neat, but the way it is executed is... strange. It's weird that you have to be next to a wall for it to refill and it refills super slowly too. Another issue is that even with the arrows guiding the player, it's still pretty easy to get lost. At one point, the arrows just stopped and I ended up going into circles. It wasn't always that clear. The fact that the arrows are present shows that the level is simply too big. Overall though, this is a good improvement. Just keep working on it.
Okay, he knows it's me by:
A: Quill wrote:Touhou Music
a: I know it is touhou music, but how would you tell without looking at the title? I am not the only one who uses it as well.
B: Quill wrote:Excessive graphics
b: That applies to about half of the levels in the contest.
C: Quill wrote:Weird gimmick
c: How does a weird Gimmick define my level when a lot of other people use "UNIQUE" gimmicks. Such as Prox's CC12 level.
You comment on my CC11 level (Which is downright terrible)
You say it is executed weirdly, yet the only thing wrong you mentioned is that it refills slowly, and that is only is by a wall. Okay, think about real life. If you are under an illness, or the like, you would slowly heal. Way slower than you would be to get ill from being infected; by lets say, Snake Venom? The idea of it only refilling (or I should say depleted back down to 0%) is based on (other than the fact I could not check if the player is not against a background object) is that you- scratch that, it was a lua limitation. (I can see that as a flaw, but not much of one, and it adds more to the level honestly). You mentioned at one point, the arrows just stop and that makes you go in circles, yet you said they are unnecessary. The level never has them just stop except in areas you can go only one way. All it was is Quill saying the Gimmick is executed strangely (which I do not see how in any way) and that he got lost (when it is physically impossible to get lost). Other than you already knew it was mine, does not sound like it helps me improve at all. ...and for the record, I do not remember telling you any details about my level until after you submitted your reviews.
I am really baffled how those two things lead to a lowly 5.5 with nothing to improve from except "Do not guide the player through the level" and that makes no sense to me.
Also, to the judges who said the final room is to difficult, did you ever find the hidden power-up?
