I don't think you know how level judging is supposed to work...
I pointed that out because there way too many stompable enemies, I didn't say I cheated though.
If I was a noob and said " 10/10 dabadabadaba I cheated", that would have been different, but yeah this was my first time as a judge so you got a point.
And funny, I though the SMB2 level was made my Mosaic Mario since it had well... shy guys in it.
Believe me, I've seen quite enough of H36D's levels to know that it's his level.
First of all, I have a question, why did you think the smb2 level was mine since it had shy guys in it? Do you think I like shy guys or something?
Also, reading your reviews of the levels, it seems a little biased.
The design seemed like it was your level, the Shy guy idea in the end was also the reason.
Woah, second place? I honestly didn't expect that.
Anyway, which Ace coin was inaccessible? The testing room was meant to be inaccessible in the level.
Got first place again >_< ? i thought i will got 7th place....
although IMNBH4L gave me 6.3/10, i still appreciate it because IMNBH4L's review is better than MECHDARGON's review...
After looking again at the reviews I have some criticism to the criticism.
HenryRichard, I agree with pretty much everything you said. I put the word Hi in the lava just as a little Easter Egg.
Imaynotbehere4long, what do you mean one of the Ace coins is unreachable? The first one is during the lava-platform ride, which you just need a precise jump and landing that isn't hard to manage. The second one (probably the one you were thinking of) is past the door at the end of the lava section. If you make a semi-precise jump across the gap of lava, you make it to a buried item with a potion. It will bring you to a bonus section of coins and an Ace coin. The third one is at the projectile gold Shy Guy box. Just make a leap of faith or place a bomb to block the generator to get it. The fourth one is found below the pile of boxes in the section after the section which contains the third Ace coin. The fifth one is found at the top of the door which leads to the joke-boss. You said who cares about them, even though that should have contributed to the score. Other than that, thanks for your review.
Ness-Wednesday, I was confused at your review. I really don't understand what you mean by SMB2 "isn't too shabby to be good". I used Ace coins because in the Super Mario Advance series, which were Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, and 3, and World, except remade for the GBA(?), they existed. In the first one (I don't know about the others, although I know the fourth, which was Super Mario World, did not have it), there were Ace coins, which served the same purpose as Yoshi coins these days. What do you mean if LunaDLL (which I believe is outdated) was allowed, it could have a better ending? The boss was clearly a joke. I could make a boss at the end, but I decided not to. I ended it with the player entering the door because in Castle levels in SMB2, they end like this.
Turtwig, it was rushed at the veeeeery end (around the part where the stack of snifits are). I had boxes scattered around, and I wanted to keep them. I wanted this to have more to do with boxes, so I made a storage room-area in sections 4 and 5. Those enemies were there to kind of rush you, I guess? I thought it was a cool addition. My previous comment stating that it was rushed at the end was the very end, as I've stated.
Nobody even mentioned the dirty cheater Easter Egg! If you want to see it, go in the level, go to the stack of bricks without hitting the switch, and glitch through the bricks.

I probably wasn't paying attention, I think SMB2 is fine, I probably didn't double check that.
When I meant about Lunadll was that the SMB2 castle win theme wouldn't have to be a custom music file.
But, I'm very used to stars, of course I remember the ending of every SMB2 boss level.
But a dirty earster egg?
I never usually go exploring like a good player, but now that you've mentioned it I think I'll go find it out myself.
HenryRichard's review wrote: Also the ice flower type was a bit inconsistent - it went from a SML2-styled one to an SMB3 one and back to the SML2 one.
I found that flaw too and i don't know how to fix that.....
IMNBH4L's review wrote: this level has a decent variety of obstacles, enemies, and Goomba resprites (though I'd prefer less Goomba resprites and more variety); it reminds me a lot of Andi Alif Batara's levels.
WHERE DID YOU FOUND MY REAL NAME!!!!1111!!!!!!!!!!1 LOLOLOL jk
P.S. I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't use the foreground clouds to hide secrets,
I don't put any secrets in my level....
Ness-Wednesday's Review wrote:why you would place the red skull blocks from "Rotten Flesh Spell" in this level.
Because i'm too lazy to recolor it.
I appreciated with these review, though.
I didn't realize my level was that bad >.< [excuse]But I couldn't use lunalua and it would have been perfect with it[/excuse]
But I pretty much agree with the placement of the levels, so GG everyone.

This basically.
First:
You forgot the graphics for the airship piece.
Why does the Unused Airship Piece flash between the top and bottom of its sprite and have an innacurate hitbox?
1. I don't know why there are buggy graphics of airship pieces all over the place.

Yeah, you're right; that's the one I was thinking of. I was actually going to complain about how you shouldn't have a secret beyond such a precise jump if failing will cause the player to have to redo half the level (since that means it will almost never be worth it), but the rest of the level was so much fun that I forgot to mention it.

You mean the non-friendly Toad that doesn't speak and basically acts as another power-up? I noticed it, but didn't mention it directly since I didn't come across it during game-play (I found it when trying to figure out how to get to that Ace coin), choosing instead to lump it under "subtle touches to the level."

Anyways, congrats on winning! I probably should have used Metroid graphics to fit the song better now that I think about it. I used graphics from Cave Story, which I ripped for SMBX. That Bowser reskin is actually part of a WIP gfx pack, and was going to be a part of the level. In the end, I decided to use Balrog instead of him, and must have forgotten to delete him from those files.

Huh, I guess I should have thought of that.

I made him not speak because if you glitch through the bricks, you will die, and the toad will say, "Nice one. You dirty little cheater," as thought the toad said that.
Tbh I probably would have given you around the same score even if you submitted this version, since (besides the graphics) the level is still the same as far as I can tell. Maybe a point higher at most :V
Imaynotbehere4long wrote:
Now that you mention it, where are MECHDRAGON's reviews? Did he not make it in time? Was that the joke?
He never submitted them. He sent me a PM saying that he could only review on weekends, so I gave him until Tuesday. I didn't get anything on Tuesday so I just went ahead and posted the results
